Day 85

Good Morning, My Fellow Kings, and Queens

Hopefully, your day has started on the right track even though for me it is about to rain anytime now. So that is a bummer but while a bit discouraging it will not stop the word, I have for you today, so on that note the topic of today's discussion revolves around discipline, routine awareness, and consistency.

Based on the sermon presented by Jerry Flower called "It's In The Routine" which speaks on how our routines affect not only ourselves but everything associated with us. Considering how we do one is how we do everything. For example, if a person likes working out, they most likely have a habit of facing things head-on instead of running away or pushing things aside until a later date when they can't run from it anymore like some people.

What I am trying to say is nothing in life comes to those who wait, for without taking that first how will you ever become the person you are destined to be? And if you cannot have faith in yourself to do that, place your faith, hope, and trust in God and allow him to be the captain of your ship.

"No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." (Hebrews 12:11) In simple terms if you do not read your bible daily how will gain knowledge of who Jesus Christ was, or better yet if you do not go the gym how will you take the first step to achieve the physique you want.

Without discipline built on consistency, you will not gain the desired results you crave, "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." (Proverbs 14:23) Now it is not easy to work continually and not see results, I know how that feels firsthand when you put your all into something and it barely garners any attention or profit.

However, while disheartening motivation can only get you so far meaning without a purpose you will always fail at the first obstacle yourself. Since at times, we can be our biggest contributor to why we fail, for if you do not believe in yourself how will anyone else believe in you?

So, to combat this take the time to plan and set achievable goals for yourself that can help you make this big dream or aspiration a possibility as Greg Reid said, "A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action makes your dreams come true."

Oh, and back it up with scripture, "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

So, for one have faith in God's plan for your life, and two those given an assignment by God he will make a way for you. So just as you have faith in a dream you have yet to achieve have faith in God who knows how your story will end, for faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.

Also, do not blame the Devil when you did not do what you were supposed to do like if you said, you were going to read your bible yet got caught up rewatching a series you already finished. For our routine influences how we speak, act, and behave so do not give the Devil even an inch to step in and mess things up. "Considering the gym membership to problems is the ignorance of a faulty routine, which leads to the acceptance of things you normally wouldn't go for as the normalization of a faulty routine." - Jerry Flower

So, beware of the cracks that start to show up when you are not doing what you are supposed to, for habits fester like flies over a dead carcass so if you ignore it do not be surprised when you wake up to a swarm in the morning. I know morbid but it drives the point home.

But anywho if you have time watch the sermon for it delves into more than just what I touched on today and I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Sunday. And I will see you all next time, God Bless! ✌️❤️
