Amelia stood near one of the exits of the train with Draco. They were still half glaring at one another yet most of Amelia's attention was on the first years. It was their duty to make sure they followed Professor Grublly-Plank. Apparently that was odd as it would be Hagrid's job to guide the students across the lake.

"That big oaf ain't here," Draco said, leaning against the train while Amelia answered and helped the students. Truly, he was letting her do all the work. It was one of the reason for her glaring at him.

"Apparently he couldn't handle the size differences," he continued with a laugh. Amelia ignored him yet she was sure her irritation was showing on her face. "Perhaps underwent some painful make over..."

She was just glad they could finally move to the carriages. Draco was apparently glad too, pushing himself off the train and walking away while leaving her. He was probably not enjoying himself as she was ignoring him, not even saying anything back.

"Miss?"

"Yes?"

A boy with blond hair stood next to her. He looked rather pale in her opinion but she let that thought go. To be honest, she was naturally pale herself. "Are you alright? Your hair is suddenly red..."

"Oh, yes, yes," Amelia chuckled. "It's all good, thanks for asking. Now, follow the professor. She'll guide you to the boats."

The boy gave a nod and started to join his fellow first years. A sigh left Amelia as she went to the carriages, making her turn black again. Her friends and girlfriend said they'd wait for her. She was glad to have them, especially now as she had to deal with Malfoy. It was always tiresome to deal with him. Even the simple act of ignoring him.

Hermione and the others were waiting for the next carriage by the time she joined them. Neville and Ginny were there too.

"Neville, had a good summer?"

"Yeah, thanks for asking," he said. "Heard yours was quite fun too. Oh, and happy birthday. Almost an adult! You must be excited about it. You know, casting spells without the whole trace on you."

"Adult... ah, right, seventeen instead of eighteen. But, yeah, been a blast with everyone. And it will be pretty sweet to cast spells when I wish!"

Neville smiled softly, his head turned to an approaching carriage. A winged horses pulled the carriages? Doesn't surprise Amelia if she was honest. There have been many curious and weird things that happened last year. One of which is the fairy that is currently sleeping in her coat pocket.

"What's pulling the carriage...?" Harry asked with furrowed brows. The group looked strangely at him. It seemed none of them could see what he was seeing. Or what she saw.

It was a scary horse, if one could call it a horse. They had more reptilian hides that clung to the bones of their bodies. Their wings too held a leathery, reptilian look. Oddly enough, the head was more like a dragon, in contrast with the reptilian-skeleton appearance.

"Nothing is pulling the carriage, Harry," said Hermione. "It's pulling itself like always."

"There's clearly a horse-like animal, though," Amelia said. "Hmm, not able to be seen by all...? Curious."

"You... can see it too?"

"Well, it's hard to miss, but they're a bit frightening, aren't they?" Amelia said to Harry while the others shared confused looks.

"You're just as sane as I am," a voice uttered from the carriage.

Emerging from behind a paper was a dirty blond-haired girl whose hair reached her waist. Her silvery eyes held a constant surprised look, a bit weird yet Amelia can't say it's an unfriendly look. Just... an odd one. The group shared another glance between them before sitting with the platinum blond girl.
