i open my eyes and see aurora asleep in my arms. i smile softly.
i try moving and she waks up, "mommy?"
"no it's me bellamy" she sits up and looks at me, "where is my mommy?"
i sigh, "she's with a friend, you'll see her soon"
she moves off the bed and goes to the closet of clothes she was given. mainly all dresses, she pulls out a pink one and looks at me. "can i wear this?" i smile. "of course sweetie" 
"i'll leave the room while you get dressed" i get up and she looks at me. "what is it?" i ask. 
"my mommy always helped me get dressed, i don't know how to zip up the dresses without her" i sigh. "can you help me?" i smile at her and kneel coming eye to eye with my daughter, god she really does have my eyes. 
"of course, sweetie"
"can you do my hair too?" i chuckle, "i'll try but know i'm terrible at it"
i look away as she changes into the dress. "ok i'm ready" i look and zip up the dress for her. she turns and runs to the bed jumping onto it. i stand up and walk over sitting behind her, "ok what do you want?"
"well, my mommy always braided my hair. could you do that?"
"i'll try" i start trying to braid her hair. luckily my mom and julia taught me how to do octavias hair back on the ark. 
i finish braiding and she hands me a rubberband to tie her hair with. 
"there you go" she gets off the bed and grabs my hand, "lets go. i'm hungry" i laugh and i get off the bed picking her up. i carry her downstairs and put her down as she runs to the table where madi and gaia are.
...
"yesterday she told me her favorite flowers were the calla lilies" jordan says. "calla lillies are nice" murphy says, he looks at me and i start laughing. "i'm serious. something happened in that reliquary. it's like she doesn't even know me" jordan states. 
"just give it time, she'll come around" i state. "maybe that and don't give flowers for a one night stand" i look at murphy and he chuckles. i roll my eyes and take a drink,
i turn and see julia she has red hair again. i wave to her and turn back to the cup. 
"mommy!" i hear, i turn and see aurora hugging julia. 
"uh, aurora. good morning" i look at her, somethings off. "can madi take me to school today" aurora asks. 
"i don't see why not" she says. "julia. madi can't go to school, clarke and i talked about this" gaia states standing up. she looks behind julia,
"oh, apparently people with blood like mine are a target. the primes insisted" 
i hear gaia mumbling something in trig, i stand up and walk over to them. "everything ok?" i ask, "yea. fine, where are the others" she says smiling to me. "one of the primes are showing raven and emori how to build a radiation shield"
"ryker?" she asks me. "yea, i sent echo and miller to watch their backs" i say. 
"and my mother?"
"still in the library, jackson said he found her sleeping with her head on a book. clarke should be with her" she looks away from me. "speaking of books, let's get you two to school"
"julia" gaia states. "chill out, she'll be fine"
"chill out?" i say confused, julia has never used the words chill out, she turns back and gaia walks away. "what?"
