It was well past dinner time, and the night sky was calm and beautiful. It was indeed a perfect summer night.

As Jungkook finished his royal duties, he made his way to the small cottage house he had built for his beloved Taehyung once.

The surroundings were as beautiful as ever, and as he walked through the garden towards the cottage, he couldn't help but notice the beautiful flowers spreading their delightful aroma, making the place a literal heaven on earth.

The garden looked like it had been managed by a professional, but the reality was that it had been nurtured by none other than Taehyung herself.

Despite being busy throughout the day with her royal duties, she always found time to care for the garden, as if it were her own child. The garden resembled Taehyung in every possible way; it was as peaceful, calming, and beautiful as she was.

As Jungkook stood in front of the cottage, he was surprised to see that it was dark, as if no one was inside. According to the maid serving the queen, both the queen and the prince were supposed to be inside the cottage, which was why the king himself was there.

Then why was the cottage dark?

He made his way inside the cottage, looking through the rooms but finding no one inside. Did they go out for a walk? But it was dinner time; why would they go out now?

He was about to return to the palace when he noticed movement in the garden from the balcony. Slowly, he made his way to the balcony, and at that moment, he thanked his luck. If he hadn't come here, he would have missed this beautiful scene.

Basking in the beautiful moonlight, sitting on an armchair, was his wife, looking like a pure angel. In her arms slept their little prince, with a children's book in her other hand. Everything clicked in his mind. They had been reading a book on the balcony when they both fell asleep, and night had fallen upon them.

He didn't do anything except sit on another chair just in front of them.

He wanted to admire them for a bit longer.

They were his most prized possessions. He owned them. They belonged to him and only him. He felt that everything he had gone through was worth it now.

He kept looking at his beautiful and peacefully sleeping wife, on her chest resting his son, cheeks pressed against her mother's blossom. His chubby cheeks were fluffing with every breath he took.

Taehyung, despite her simple background and lack of formal education like the royals, was the most caring mother he could have ever imagined for their son.

She had a natural ability to nurture and love, which was evident in every aspect of her being.

Though she wasn't educated in the ways of royalty, and only received as much education as she needed to manage her royal duties as a queen, she never opposed Jungkook's methods of educating their son as the future heir to the throne. She respected his decisions, understanding the importance of their son's role and trusting her husband fully.

However, she had her own way of taking part in the responsibility of the upbringing of their prince.

Every evening, after the sun had set, Taehyung would manage to find time to spend with Taegguk.
