Lisa's POV
Today was the day I was getting married. I couldn't wait to marry Dean, I'm surprised I hadn't gotten wedding jitters yet, though. I start getting ready and Jess helps out. She was doing my hair and makeup. While I'm sitting there getting my makeup done in my wedding dress, I'm staring at my now curled hair and the nerves hit like a wrecking ball.
"Oh my god, Jess, what if Dean doesn't want to marry me anymore? What if he leaves me at the altar for someone else?" I ask out of the blue.
"Whoa, where is this coming from?" Jess asks.
"I don't know, but what if he doesn't want me anymore? What if he leaves me and never comes back?" I ask in a panic, almost in tears.
"I'm gonna call Sam!" She says.
I see her take out her phone and she calls Sam. She talks to him for a couple minutes and then there's a knock on the door and Jess answers it. Sam steps into the room and Jess steps out for a few moments.
Sam takes both of my hands in his, "What's going on, Lisa? Why are you in a panic all of a sudden?" He asks, kneeling next to me.
"Sam, I'm just scared he's gonna leave me. What if he doesn't love me anymore and doesn't want to get married after all?" I ask him.
"Lisa, are you serious right now? Do you want to know what he told me when we talked that day we kicked all of you out of my room so Dean and I could talk alone?" He asks.
"What?" I ask, trying to stop the tears from falling down my face.
"Well besides talking about Jess, we talked about you! He told me how much he loved you. How happy he was that he was gonna have a baby girl. How happy he was to be marrying you. How proud he was that he had his own little family. How he had a loving mother and soon to wife. He's proud of you, Ben, and Samantha. There is nothing to worry about, Lisa! He loves you, Ben, and Samantha so much, he would die for all of you in a heartbeat if it meant keeping all of you safe. So don't worry about him leaving you at the altar. Trust me, Dean has been waiting for this day for a long time!" He explains to me.
"Thanks Sam, sorry I freaked out!" I tell him.
He cups my face in his hands and wipes away all my tears, "Don't worry about it Lisa, it's what I'm here for. Besides, Dean will probably end up doing the same for Jess when we get married. It's probably just the pregnancy hormones though. Don't sweat the small stuff, Lis. Trust me, you're gonna be just fine once you walk down that aisle and see Dean standing at the end." He assures me, giving me a reassuring smile.
"Thanks Sam, I appreciate it! I better get my makeup redone though." I tell him.
He gets up to leave, but turns back to me as he does, "You look beautiful, Lisa. Dean won't be able to take his eyes off of you!" He tells me.
"Thanks Sam!" I tell him one more time.
Jess steps back into the room as Sam steps out. They share a quick kiss and Jess gets started on my makeup again.
Soon, it's time to wait by the doors and wait for the music to start. I hear the music start and Sam joins me, linking an arm with mine. As the doors open and I start walking down the aisle, I can't keep my eyes off of Dean. I can see the tears falling down his face and a huge smile is spread across it too.
Sam hands me off to Dean and he takes my hands in his, "You look beautiful!" He mouths to me.
I can't help a few tears fall from my eyes and Dean quickly wipes them away before taking my hands in his again. The preacher begins talking, but I don't pay attention to that, I can't seem to take my eyes off of him.
Priest: We are gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, the joining of two hearts and to give recognition to the worth and beauty of love, and to add our best wishes to the words which shall unite this couple in marriage. Should there be anyone who has cause why this couple should not be united in marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Priest: Today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding. A good marriage must be created. It is never being too old to hold hands. It's remember to say I love you everyday and it is not just marrying the right person, its being the right partner.
Priest: The couple will say their vows now.
Dean: Lisa, since I laid my eyes on you, I never knew that you would be the one I would one day marry. I wasn't looking for a long-term romance, I was just looking for a good time. I had had a long day and I was just looking for a shag and to have a couple of beers. But once I found out that I had a son, I knew there was no turning back. I slowly fell for you and I finally knew you were the one for me. You put up with all my shit and you still stuck around, so thank you. Now I have a couple of promises to make to you. I promise, Lisa, that I will never stop loving you. I promise that I will be here by your side, every second of every day forever and always, even if it's just talking on the phone. I promise that I will stand by you through the simple times and the hard, when our love is easy and when it's difficult. I promise to protect you, to cherish you, to laugh with you. I promise to love you when we are fighting, and I promise I will never leave. I promise that I will never give up on us, that I will fight for you every moment for the rest of our lives. I promise to hug you and to hold you, to be your shoulder to cry on and to make you feel beautiful even when you think you're not. I promise to adventure with you and to love you every second, through sickness and health, past death and beyond.
Lisa: Dean, I never knew you were the kind for long term relationships. I figured you were some cheap guy that liked drinking beer and shagging girls then dumping them. I figured you wouldn't stick around when I told you about Ben, but you changed my mind when you told me you weren't going anywhere and that you would be here for Ben and I, no matter what. I honestly wouldn't be here without you, Dean. You have saved Ben and I so many times, more than I count! You filled the hole in my chest and gave me a reason to be here, besides Ben, of course. And so I promise that I will do my best to do the same for you. I promise that I will never leave you and that I will hold you close and keep your secrets. I promise that I will help you carry your burdens, and fight through anything that comes between us. I promise to hug you, dance with you, kiss you. To laugh with you and remind you everyday that I love you. I promise that no matter what happens, I'll be here to support you, to give you whatever you may need. And I promise that whenever you need somebody to lean on, I'll be right there next to you. Always.
Priest: Dean, do you take Lisa to be your wife? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only unto her?
Dean: I do.
Priest: Lisa, do you take Dean to be your husband? Do you promise to love, honor, cherish, and protect him, forsaking all other and holding only unto him?
Lisa: I do.
Priest: Wedding rings are an unbroken circle of love, signifying to all the union of this couple in marriage.
Dean: Lisa, this ring is my sacred gift, with my promise that I will always love you, cherish you, and honor you all the days of my life. And with this ring, I thee wed.
He then slips my ring on my finger, smiling up at me as he does.
Lisa: Dean, this ring is my sacred gift, with my promise that I will always love you, cherish you, and honor you all the days of my life. And with this ring, I thee wed.
I then slip his ring on his finger, smiling up at him as I do.
Priest: By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.
Dean dips me and plants a kiss on my lips. We share a passionate kiss and both pull away as everyone cheers.
Priest: I present to you our happy couple, Mr. and Mrs. Dean and Lisa Winchester.
