I walked into the restaurant, spotting my friends already seated at a table. I grinned, feeling like a cat who'd just devoured a canary. I couldn't wait to share my latest conquest with them.
"Hey, guys!" I said, plopping down in the empty chair. "What's up?"
Killian, ever the supportive friend, raised an eyebrow. "You look like you're walking on cloud nine, Nikolai. What's going on?"
I leaned in, a goofy grin spreading across my face. "Luna and I had an...interesting morning."
Maya and Gareth exchanged a skeptical glance, but Killian's eyes lit up with interest. "Oh? Do tell."
I launched into a detailed account of our morning, leaving out no juicy details. "And then she kissed me, and I swear, it was like the whole world stopped. She rode me hard, guys. I mean, I've never felt anything like it."
Killian chuckled, clapping me on the back. "I'm proud of you, man. You're finally getting the hang of this whole 'being in a relationship' thing."
Maya and Gareth, on the other hand, looked like they'd just sucked on a lemon. "Ugh, Nikolai, do we really need to hear about your sex life?" Maya asked, her voice laced with disgust.
Gareth nodded in agreement. "Yeah, dude, we're trying to eat lunch here. Don't make us visualize your...activities."
I laughed, undeterred. "Come on, guys. I'm just sharing my joy with you. You're my friends, aren't you supposed to be happy for me?"
Killian chuckled. "I'm happy for you, Nikolai. But maybe spare us the details, yeah?"
I grinned, feeling a little mischievous. "Aww, come on. You're not curious about the intricacies of Luna's...techniques?"
Maya and Gareth groaned in unison, covering their faces with their hands. "Nikolai, stop," Maya begged. "Please, for the love of all things holy, stop."
I laughed, feeling a little silly. "Okay, okay. I'll spare you the details. But just know, guys, I'm one happy man."
Killian clapped me on the back again. "That's all that matters, Nikolai. Now, let's order some food and celebrate your...um, newfound happiness."
I grinned, feeling grateful for my friends. Even if they didn't want to hear about my sex life, they were still happy to see me happy. And that was all that mattered.
As we ordered our food and dug in, Maya and Gareth couldn't resist taking a few more jabs at me. "So, Nikolai, how's it feel to be whipped?" Maya asked, a sly grin spreading across her face.
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Hey, I'm not whipped. I'm just...enthusiastically devoted."
Gareth snorted. "Enthusiastically devoted? That's just a nice way of saying you're a lovesick puppy."
I laughed, feeling a little goofy. "Hey, maybe I am. But at least I'm happy, right?"
Killian nodded, smiling. "That's all that matters, Nikolai. Now, let's just enjoy our lunch and try to forget about your...extracurricular activities."
I grinned, feeling grateful for my friends. They might not always understand me, but they loved me anyway. And that was all that mattered.

I pulled up to the Sharma's residence, Luna by my side. We were here to discuss a potential business deal, but I had a feeling it was going to be a lot more than that. As we stepped out of the car, I couldn't help but notice the way Luna's eyes sparkled in the evening light.
We were greeted at the door by Mr. and Mrs. Sharma, who welcomed us with warm smiles. "Ah, young lovebirds!" Mrs. Sharma exclaimed, enveloping us in a hug. "We're so glad to have you over for dinner."
I felt my face heat up as Luna playfully rolled her eyes. "We're not that young, Mrs. Sharma," she said, laughing.
As we made our way to the dining room, I couldn't help but notice the way Luna's hand brushed against mine. It was a small touch, but it sent shivers down my spine.
Over dinner, Luna filled my plate with all my favorite dishes, almost absently, as if it was second nature to her. It was a habit she'd developed back in university, when we were still in love. Seeing her do it now, after all these years, made my heart skip a beat.
I couldn't help but stare at her, my love-sick thoughts running wild. How did I get so lucky? How did I get a second chance with the love of my life?
Mr. Sharma, noticing my gaze, chuckled and teased, "Ah, Nikolai, you're still smitten, aren't you?"
I felt my face heat up, but Luna just smiled and leaned in, her shoulder brushing against mine. "We're just happy to be here, Mr. Sharma," she said, her voice low and husky.
Mr. Sharma's eyes twinkled with amusement. " How did you fall in love, anyway?"
I sat across from Mr. and Mrs. Sharma, Luna by my side, as she began to tell the story of how she fell in love with me. Her eyes sparkled with passion, and her voice was filled with emotion as she spoke.
"Do you know, Mr. Sharma, when Nikolai and I were just ten years old, he proposed to me while we were stargazing?" she said, a soft smile spreading across her face.
Mr. Sharma's eyes widened in surprise, and Mrs. Sharma let out a delighted gasp. I felt my face heat up, but I couldn't help the goofy grin that spread across my face.
"He told me that he would buy me even the stars, because the moon would be lonely without them," Luna continued, her voice filled with laughter. "I thought it was just a silly childhood fantasy, but as I grew older, I realized that he was the one who made my heart shine bright."
I felt my heart swell with emotion as I listened to her words. I had never felt so loved, so cherished, in my entire life.
"He chased after me, not just because he wanted to be with me, but because he needed to be with me," Luna said, her eyes locking onto mine. "He made me feel seen, heard, and loved in a way that no one else ever had. And I realized that he was my star, my guiding light in the darkness."
I felt like I was going to melt into a puddle of happiness. I was so lucky to have Luna, to have her love and devotion.
Mr. Sharma was beaming with delight, and Mrs. Sharma was dabbing at her eyes with a tissue. "That's the most romantic thing I've ever heard," she said, her voice trembling with emotion.
I reached out, taking Luna's hand in mine, and pulled her close. "I'm the luckiest man alive," I whispered, my voice filled with emotion. "I have you, Luna, and that's all that matters."
Luna's face lit up with a radiant smile, and I knew that I was home. I was exactly where I was meant to be.
As we sat there, surrounded by the warmth and love of the Sharma's home, I knew that I would do anything to make Luna happy. I would move mountains, stars, and galaxies to be with her.
I was over the moon, and I knew that I would never let her go.
