Once Sordun left Cayde and Crow he immediately began doing his work. Killing the forces of the darkness and followers of the Witness. Honing his skills further more, testing his capabilities and even more, his limits. So for a couple of days, he had been killing and exploring the inside of the Traveler. Admiring the beauty of it and wondering why the Witness would want to destroy it. Mind you, he is a arrogant, wicked and selfish. All of his people fused in with him, suffering with him, many of them wish for it to just end and to bring upon the ruin of that entity.

They have been searching around a area for enemies but weirdly there weren't many. Usually they would face a couple dozen at once, but so far, at least for today, they were facing only a couple. Which Sordun found odd, they were expecting more enemies. Could have the guardians cleaned up the area, but they hadn't come here yet. Suddenly they detect contacts in a cave nearby, so, thirsty for battle they go to it. At first it looks like any old cave system they ventured in so far. Nothing sticks out, only a couple taken and Witnesses forces. They are quite easy to take care of so they aren't much trouble. As they venture in deeper they come across more and more forces, but these still aren't all that difficult. They then hear battle further in, a Hive Wizard shriek. This catches the attention of Sordun, what is a hive doing in here. They strike down more forces until they finally reach the source of all that commotion. An open space, with a lot of enemies and the source of all that commotion. A Lucent Hive Wizard fighting against them. This is odd, usually they would be working together, well normal hive but the Lucent brood is different. He is perplexed on what to do. While the Hive Wizard might not present much of a threat to strike down maybe they aren't hostile. The Taken and the others are definitely hostile so he decides to help out this lone Wizard for now. If need be, he can easily strike her down, but he hopes that it won't come to that.

He casts a Dawnblade and starts hurling fiery balls of fire that reign down destruction upon his enemies. She is capable of taking more, but they just keep on coming. But these so far have been lower ranking forces, nothing all to special. That is, until a strong one appears. One of the Witnesses, his abominations, his followers. This one seems to be trouble, way stronger than the others. The Wizard seems to be too distracted fighting against the other forces that she doesn't notice it's presence and that it is charging an attack at her. Sordun doubts that she could hear him, way too much carnage and noises that his voice would get swallowed up. He rushes for her, casting a Void shield. It fires a bolt of dark energy at her but thankfully Sordun manages to get between them just in time to block the attack. He throws the shield back at the enemy, hitting it but not doing too much damage it seems. He casts a Chaos Reach, a beam of energized electricity hitting the foe dead on, but it seems it isn't enough to outright kill it but it is critically wounded. It kneels down on the ground, exhausted and too hurt to fight back. Normally, Sordun would hesitate at killing a wounded enemy, but for the forces of darkness he does not have any remorse and hesitation. For if they had the same chance they would kill at any cost, not caring about the other side. He throws a Nova Bomb at it, gliding towards it. It looking up at Sordun one last time, staring right into his eyes, full of anger and hatred. Once it impacts it is consumed by void energy and soon there is nothing left of him.

As he turns around he sees that the Wizard had finished off the last of the enemy forces, leaving them two alone, in an awkward silence. Not knowing what to say and who to speak first. So, Mezsar decides to take manners into his own hands. He appears and clears his throat.

Mezsar: Greeting there, may we know if you are an enemy.

The Wizard does not speak, instead she stares at Mezsar, not out of fear, but amazement and confusion.

Wizard: This one greets you back. I am no enemy to you.

Mezsar: Well, that is good I guess. Which side do you belong to? You are a Lucent Hive, so I am guessing your brood.
