The way he said it was just too convincing. I feel like i'm in a moral quandary every time I even think of him now. Let alone speak to him.
I want to believe that Hongjoong wouldn't lie just because he doesn't like Wooyoung. I trust Hongjoong and I don't even really know Wooyoung. But i'd like to hear what he has to say for himself. That would make this a lot easier.
"Okay."
"I'll come pick you up."
"Oh, um, okay. See you then."
It's probably a bad idea to have him come pick me up. It's especially worse when it's 11 at night and i'll have to explain to Joong why i'm heading out so late after just making it back.
So, the only reasonable thing to do is lie.
"Joong, i'm heading out. Yeosang called and wanted to see me for last minute stuff about the fashion show." I said tucking my phone into my back pocket.
"Alright. Glad we're back on good terms, San. I really missed you." Joong looked up at me from his spot on the couch.
"I missed you too, Joong." I turned to leave.
"And San?"
"Yes Joong?"
"I think you and Yeosang would make a nice pair." He teased with a wink.
I let out a little chuckle and finally left.
It wasn't long that I waited outside for Wooyoung to arrive and when he did, I hopped into the car immediately.
It wasn't even 3 seconds before our lips were locked in a longing kiss.
"I missed this." Wooyoung said stroking my cheek with his thumb, looking back and forth between both of my eyes. It was intimate. Too intimate for us.
I gently pulled his hand off of my face and looked at him seriously. "Wooyoung. What did you need to see me for?"
"I want you to spend the night with me." He beamed.
Spend the night?! With Wooyoung?! This can't be good.
"Um, I don't know Wooyoung. I have a class in the morning-"
"Same one as me! We could go together. Come on, San. Pleeeeassse."
This was my first time seeing him like this and it felt so unfamiliar. No mystery to him. His intentions laid out straightforward. But he's expectant and he looks so...excited.
And it did make my heart jump a little bit that he reached out to me and wanted to spend time with me. This is what I wanted, right?
"Okay, but I didn't bring any clothes or anything." I spoke giving in.
How could I say no to him?
"That's okay. You can borrow some of mine." He smiled brightly putting the car in drive. His energy has completely shifted into one I oddly was compelled by.
It was a different kind of compelling than his usual state. I remember the night I met him when he said 'Crazy isn't it? How this could be the only thing that someone has to look forward to. Drugs and dancing and fucking. It gets old sometimes.'
