Kamsa's(also devaki) father ugrasena was reinstated as the king of Mathura. Krishna and balram were sent to guru sandipani's ashram for their education and training. Under the guidance of guru sandipani, krishna and balram grew in strength, spiritual powers, wisdom and preparing them for their future as heroes . They learned vedas, scriptures, martial arts and combat skills.
Vasudev along with his two wives devaki and rohini stayed at mathura. They helped ugrasena in administration. He and rohini gave birth to two sons namely sarana , gada, satha. He married several times and had many children.
Vasudev married the princess of kasi, suthanu. They gave birth to a son named paundraka.
Jarasandh (king of magadha) , father in law of kamsa tried several times to kill vasudev and his sons .
Krishna and balaram returned to mathura after completing their gurukul.
It was a dark and stormy night. Vasudev called krishna and balram for some privotal discussion about yadava clan and mathura.
Vasudev - my beloved sons! Mathura was vulnerable to attacks from other kingdoms. Mathura peoples were suffering by jarasandh . I am worried about their safety.
Krishna - we should find a safer location for yadav clan.
Balram - But how can we build a city?
Krishna - with the help of vishwakarma and maya dhanava.

Krishna requested Vishwakarma to build a magnificent city on the banks of Gomti. He established a royal palaces along with temples made of precious stones and jewels.

Under the governance of Krishna and balaram vasudev ruled dwarka. Yadava's were hailed by the whole aryaavart. Dwarka was known for its beauty, prosperity and spiritual significance.
Vasudev and his family led a peaceful life after so much of struggles. Many kings and demons were jealous of dwarka . Krishna and balram defeated all his oppresses. Even though vasudev got every good fortune in his life back still he felt that his soul craving for something.
