I was finally married to the man I fell in love with, and I couldn't have been happier. We got married an hour ago and now we are having a huge party in the back yard of my parents' castle. There was music, dancing, drinking. You name it.
I smiled watching my parents mingle around with some of the Lycan's as we were one.
Though, I was still confused about why they crowned me as Queen of the Elven, it didn't make sense. Yes, I was their daughter, but was I truly ready to rule a kingdom?=
My mother walked over smiling at me as she handed me a drink.
"What a beautiful wedding." She smiled.
"It was, Thank you.. Though I hate to bring this up.. But why did you crown me their ruler? I just found out I was your daughter and royal at that, yet you crowned me Queen.." I whispered.
She smiled.
"Because your father and I have been ruling since you were a baby and needed this badly. Finding you and your brother again was the tip of the cake. Florian is young and still learning what he wants in life. Yet you are determined and now married to a Lycan, that has brought our species together as one.. We both decided on giving over our crowns to you both..I know its sudden but don't let it scare you." She smiled at me, rubbing my cheek.
"Though. I have no idea how to be a Queen, let alone rule mother." I said, staring at her.
"Don't worry, you have me for guidance, but also someone I know to teach you. Your father is going to guide Marcus through this as well. You aren't alone." She assured me by kissing my cheek.
Marcus came over smiling. "May I steal my wife for a dance?" He asked my mother, who giggled, nodding her head as she walked away to my father.
He took my hand as I set down my glass, we moved to the dance floor and began slow dancing.
"Did you know about the whole crowning thing?" I asked him as we danced.
"No, I didn't.. I was just as shocked as you were... I have no idea if I can rule a whole kingdom. Though the title is nice." He smirked at me, twirling me around before pulling me close. "Your father said he believes I can do it, So I will try." He assured me.
I smiled at him. "Then I shall try my best as well." I said, becoming confident, knowing I wasn't alone in this as he was learning as well.
We danced to cute music playing as everyone watched us, then joined in as well. I smiled at Marcus as his eyes didn't leave mine either.
I looked over and spotted my mother leaving the backyard area. Following her was Oliver. I looked back at Marcus.
"You should go check in on your sister.. I think something is up." I spoke.
He looked at me then over to the door as he was making a hard decision. I smiled before kissing his cheek.
"Go, I'll dance with my father while you're gone." I assured him.
He smiled, kissing my head, then walked off to find out what was going on.
My Father casually walked over and bowed before taking my hand. I chuckled, smiling as we danced.
"Don't worry, your mother is good at her magic and healing.. I'm sure she will figure out what's going on." He assured me, twirling me.
"I know she is just my best friend, so I don't want anything to happen to her, especially right now.. I can't be there as it would be wrong for both of us to disappear..with all these people here." I said to him as he nodded his head.
I turned my head as the full moon escaped between the clouds, I watched all his Lycans smiles as they looked towards the moon then to the door where Marcus stood eyeing his pack.
"Tonight, under the full moon, I am no longer just your Alpha.. I am The King of Lycan's" He shouted to his people, who howled in response.
He looked at me as I nodded my head watching him run off in the woods with his pack following him in toe, The moon was shining brightly, which meant they were going to shift and hunt together. I looked at the Elven people who were whispering amongst each other as I swallowed hard.
"Shall we go inside where it will be warm?" I said, smiling as the guards opened the door, allowing everyone inside and back to the ballroom area where it was cleaned up and they had food and drinks.
Soft music played as my brother approached me from behind smirking.
"Don't worry, you will make a bad ass, Queen. They will talk about you till the day you die.. Don't mean they are any better than you." Elijah said, kissing my head as he walked off to dance with a woman.
I smiled at his assuring words as I watched everyone dance, I grabbed myself some wine and stayed where I was, occasionally saying hello to people I had no idea was, but they were eleven and I needed to make friends and allies if I was going to be a good queen.
I watched everyone before my eyes moved to the window, staring at the full moon. Tomorrow was my honeymoon, and I was nervous... We were going to Hawaii just the two of us alone. Anything could happen if you know what I mean... I think I'm getting too nervous about losing my virginity to him... I was in deep thought as I sighed, closing out my thoughts and enjoying the rest of my night here.
