The first light of dawn filtered through the silk curtains, casting a soft glow on the sleeping couple. Anvi stirred, blinking slowly as she adjusted to the morning light. She felt a warmth beside her, and as she turned her head, she saw Rudra's peaceful face, still lost in slumber.
A smile spread across her face as she remembered the events of the previous night. Every touch, every whispered word, every look had been etched into her memory, creating a tapestry of love and passion. She gently traced the lines of his face with her fingertips, marveling at how real everything felt despite knowing it was all part of a dream.
Rudra stirred at her touch, his eyes slowly opening. When he saw Anvi, his face lit up with a smile. "Good morning, my love," he said, his voice husky with sleep.
"Good morning," Anvi replied softly. "Did you sleep well?"
"How could I not, with you in my arms?" he responded, pulling her closer for a tender kiss.
They lay there for a while, basking in the afterglow of their intimate night, reluctant to let the moment slip away. But reality, even in a dream, has a way of intruding.
A soft knock at the entrance of the pavilion brought them back to the present. "Maharani, the Raj Pandit requests your presence," a servant called from outside.
Anvi sighed, knowing their private time had come to an end. She glanced at Rudra, who looked equally disappointed. "Duty calls," she said with a resigned smile.
"Yes, it does," Rudra agreed, brushing a kiss on her forehead. "But remember, our love will always be our sanctuary."
They dressed quickly, helping each other with their attire. Anvi couldn't help but steal glances at Rudra, her heart swelling with love and gratitude. She felt a deep connection with him, one that transcended the boundaries of time and space.
As they stepped out of the pavilion, they were greeted by the Raj Pandit and a few courtiers. The Pandit looked at them with a knowing smile, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I trust you both had a restful night?" he asked.
Anvi blushed, but Rudra answered confidently, "Yes, Panditji. It was a night we will cherish forever."
The Pandit nodded. "Good. Now, Maharani, we must discuss the upcoming festival preparations. There is much to be done."
Anvi nodded, slipping into her role as queen. "Of course, Panditji. Let's discuss the details."

Throughout the day, Anvi found herself thinking about the night they shared. Every time she looked at Rudra, she felt a warmth spread through her, a reminder of their deep connection. They worked side by side, discussing plans and making decisions, but there was an unspoken understanding between them that transcended words.
Anvi tried to stay close to Rudra, cherishing every moment they had together. She would find excuses to touch him, brush against him, or just be near him. However, their romantic moments were frequently interrupted by the demands of the court and the responsibilities of their roles.
"Yeh log humesha galat waqt pe kyun aa jaate hain?" (Why do these people always come at the wrong time?) Anvi muttered under her breath, feeling like an angry bird every time someone called for Rudra.
Rudra noticed her frustration and smiled, squeezing her hand reassuringly. "Sab theek hoga, Anvi. Hum phir se waqt nikaal lenge." (Everything will be fine, Anvi. We'll find time again.)

As the festivities began in the evening, Anvi and Rudra stood together, watching the celebrations with a content smile. Anvi couldn't help but feel a mix of joy and irritation. She wanted to steal another moment with Rudra, but every time she tried, someone or the other needed his attention.
She thought being all frustrated- "like really! Wo mera pati hai yar....mujhse jyaada to yhan ke log inpe haq jtate hai."
(Like really! He is my husband,...people here claim more rights on him than me.)Finally, they found a quiet spot and sat together. Rudra kept looking at Anvi lovingly, making her blush. Nakul, Rudra's brother, noticed them and smiled, revealing his oddly shaped teeth. Anvi remembered what Kaashvi had said about evil spirits and felt a shiver run down her spine.
Nakul couldn't resist teasing them. "Bhaiya, aap dono ko dekh kar lagta hai jaise prem kahani chal rahi ho." (Brother, looking at you two feels like watching a love story.)
Rudra chuckled. "Aur tumhein kya lagta hai? Tumhare paas bhi toh patni hai. Tum bhi ye sab kar skte ho kisi ne roka hai kya?" (And what do you think? You also have a wife. You can also do all this, has anyone stopped you?)
Nakul's expression darkened. "Vo bhi iske saath?" (Even with her?) he muttered under his breath, loud enough for only Rudra and Anvi to hear. His words hinted at the bitterness he felt.
Before anyone could react, Nakul approached Kalavati, who was standing nearby. He carried her in his arms, a shocking display of strength and resolve. Kalavati's eyes widened in surprise, expecting something romantic, but instead of a gentle gesture, Nakul dropped her, and she landed on the floor with a thud.
