Next day the roster came out with 3 nightshifts a week for me one day I had Arnav with me the other 2 with Abhi its going to be a long week. We were waiting for Robbie's class he came smiling into the class and looked in my direction and I avoided his gaze like a plague he was explaining something on the board when the girls in the back shouted prof you got engaged didn't you who is that lucky girl come on prof tell us we would keep it a secret. Robbie had turned full beetred it was a sight to behold if I could I would have captured his picture at that moment. Prof coughed to get out of the awkwardness he said come on let's focus on studies this sem is going to be hard with all the duties . One girl shouted you broke my heart prof who will talk my responsibility now. Now it was Robbie's turn to avoid my gaze. He said don't say things like this in the class please maintain the decorum of the class. Some boys said atleast show us her picture Robbie looked like he would prefer any place rather than here. He said I will invite you when I get married now please get back to this case. I was glaring at him and A² were rather enjoying the show. After the class Robbie said miss Xavier please come to prof Tyagi's office before going to rounds. Now this is a question why is he calling me to prof Tyagi's cabin I nodded okay. 
One thing prof didn't lie was that this sem was really hard we were more involved in the treatment plan prof were involving us in major surgeries like even if it was for giving incisions but we were involved. If we made mistakes we were scolded like no anything.
I saw Robbie waiting for me in front of Prof Tyagi's office. I questioned him with my eyes but he didn't say anything and led me inside. Inside every staff of oral surgery were waiting for us I was a little afraid did I unknowingly done some mistake why is everyone gathered here. 
Then Robbie said I wanted to share a good news with everyone our parents has decided to marry us with eachother we would appreciate your cooperation to keep it under wraps till we are ready to tell everyone we will be marrying next December we didn't want anyone to find out in anyother way that's why we decided to disclose it ourselves please give us your blessings. I was looking at him with shock and so was everyone. Prof Tyagi broke the silence while clapping and said congratulations then continued I was rooting for both of you since the day you joined Ruth I was sure you both would marry eachother by the end of your first year but this is also great congratulations once again , then one by one everyone started congratulating us I smiled awkwardly at all of them. Then our cheif surgeon prof Malik said whom I was meeting for the first time don't expect us to go easy on you Ruth if anything we will be much stricter with you than others. I was terrified after that my palms were sweating. I could kill Robbie right now. I excused myself and went straight to my locker where I kept my bag. I took lunch out of it I was going to cafeteria when Robbie grabbed my hand from behind I just glared at him and he left my hand he said let's eat in my office we need to talk. I didn't say anything and lead the way to his cabin as we reached his office he shut the gate behind him. He went and sat on his chair then said start I am listening I know you are ready to burst into flames. Ohh he asked for it he can't blame me now. I said in a threatening voice what the hell was that first in the class let's take it as a joke but right now in the office I looked like a deer  in headlights. He laughed at that ohh I was so angry on him I said don't laugh right now I will kill you with the scalpel if you don't shut up. He said then stop looking so cute you look like an angry waddling penguin. I said Robbie you are just impossible you asshole it came out before I could think. Robin said what did you call me right now I let you sit on my head doesn't mean you could speak like this. Now I felt guilty I stopped pacing around and stood in front of him apologeticly. I said sorry it slipped out of my mouth. Suddenly he started laughing and said you should look at your face that's how you turn the tables. I shouldn't have said sorry he really is asshole. I was about to walk out he said come on my cute panda let's talk first I won't tease you now come on . I sat on the patients seat besides him I didn't look at him he is really a bully dustbin. I said go marry the girl who couldn't live without you she seems interested in marrying you don't bother me. 
He turned facing me and pulled my seat towards him in a jerk I quickly grabbed his shoulder not to fall down he brought his face closer to me and said I want to marry only one girl and I have taken permission from her parents first I want to spend rest of my life with only one who is sitting in front of me I don't like easy tasks , that girl I don't even know her would have said yes easily but my little panda made me beg in front of her to accept me I have already stacked my claim over my darling so that seeing her with me won't bother her thinking she did something wrong are you still angry my darling. I blushed listening to him I didn't say anything to him. I took my tiffin and gave it to him I had made chole ki sabji and parathe I made extra parathas for him. He asked did you make it for me I said I had made extra so packed it for you as well. He said that's fine for me always make extra so that we can eat together I mumbled whatever he opened the tiffin and tore a bite then said aren't you going to eat I shook my head in No he said my mom will kill me if I starved you come on I will feed you I said no I don't want it he could eat. I saw him calling someone Rosie aunty appeared on the screen Robbie showed aunty the food prepared by me the parathas were of all different shapes when I used to pack my dad's lunch boxes it was different. Robbie has filled the quota to get me embarrassed today then he passed me his phone aunty happily greeted me and said thank you love for bringing him tiffin he said you were not eating is everything okay did he do something I am giving you permission go ahead and smack him. That seemed to cheer me up I smiled at that Robbie said I was trying to make her laugh for so long but mom you could do it within a minute. Aunty said feed her you buffalo don't eat everything alone I am watching he gave me a bite I ate it. Aunty still talked for a bit and he kept feeding me and fed himself. When aunty ended the call I bit his fingers. He screamed ouch Ruth what are you doing it hurts now kiss my boo boo better. I looked at him surprised I didn't know he was a baby at heart. I said remember it before you embarrass me in front of others. Come on love it is not something to be embarrassed about I will make you sit on my lap and feed you just wait for sometime. I rolled my eyes at that and said in your dreams I am full you can eat the rest , he said you don't know what my dreams are love I will let you know once you are comfortable with me. My ears were turning red I said please don't tell me wrap it up fast and stop calling me other names. He sort of inhaled the food while I was washing my hands and drying them he stood behind me and said what names darling, love, cute panda there are many more I would like to call you looking at me through the mirror. I was about to go when he took my hands in his hold and again made me wash my hands stuffing his face near my neck telling me he was teaching me how to wash my hands. I hit him on the stomach that made him leave me complaining. I didn't pay any heed to that and closed the lunch box opening the gate so that it doesn't smell stuffy here. He was still mumbling about me being unfair to him. I said I am going to meet A² and Ri before rounds and went away he looked like a kicked puppy.
