My parents and Robin's parents went on Monday night I didn't want my parents to leave I was really home sick I wanted to go home with them but I couldn't as I had to complete the second phase of my thesis if I wanted leave in March. My parents told Cicely aunty, Robin , Abhi and Ri to take care of me. I hugged Ri crying like a baby because I didn't want them to go. To divert my mind from sadness Abhi took me to a book stall and told me to buy a novel it would be his gift for being first in exam that's when I remembered Robbie still didn't give me any gift . I turned to him and said why haven't you given me any gift yet , he was shocked at first then he said what's that on your chain didn't I give it to you its costly you know. I said wah you miser you gave me one gift for 2 occasions I should rethink my decision. His expressions changed and then he said stop saying nonsense go buy as many novels as you want you bookworm I happily went away hearing that. I guess I have found which buttons to press to get him working I laughed evilly I went and picked up books worth 2000 while he paid he mumbled I will have you repay for it my way. I will find a way to get away from it when the time comes. 
Getting the novels I hopped away happily. We went to college with him as Arnav was on night duty we thought giving him company we had taken parathas that mumma had prepared for him and Chinmay as well we all gathered in the cafeteria and ate till our hearts were full. 
Abhi , Ri, me and Robbie were taking a walk after dinner . Abhi and Ri in front of us and us walking behind them we were talking about how I should proceed with my thesis and my sister's wedding when suddenly Robbie tried to hold my hand I panicked and slapped his hand away and turned around to look if someone saw us thankfully no one was there. What I missed was the look of hurt on Robbie's face. He looked away and was walking silently besides me then it hit me that he would have taken it in the wrong way as we reached the campus gate he said you can go with Abhishek and Mrinal right I don't have to come with you, you would be more comfortable around them. 
But I wanted to be with him for some more time so I said do you have anything important or do you want to smoke he said nothing. I tried again please walk me to my PG pretty please plus these novels are heavy who will carry this you are coming with me. 
He grumbled saying why did you buy so many of them then such a baby she is as we had walked a little distance away from the campus I wrapped my pinky around his pinky he looked surprised but didn't say anything. Then  I said Robbie listen did I hurt you in some way. He still didn't speak I stopped walking tugging him back. I said look into my eyes please he reluctantly looked into my eyes his eyes were red. That got me worried. 
He slowly said did I force you to accept my proposal are you ashamed to be in a relationship with me am I too old for you. Ohh this poor soul I unintentionally hurt him so much. I took his hand in my hand properly this time I said no you didn't force and a big NO for am I ashamed of being with you on the other hand I feel I am not enough for I didn't want to hold hands in the campus because I don't want any unnecessary rumours about me and you other than that I didn't think much of it I am sorry that I made you feel like that and further teased him saying don't you agree you are a bit older than me. 
He laughed at that and said it's not that I am older it just that you are a baby and I am afraid if I leave you with my mom for some time she will literally carry you like a baby she is so obsessed with you. If I ever hurt you your dad is going to hunt me down I laughed at that and said now you are just exaggerating my papa is so sweet he won't hurt you or anyone. He looked at me seriously and said you still don't understand do you I said what do I not understand. Ohh my innocent baby panda she doesn't know how many gaurdian angels she have your dad , your sis , Abhishek, Arnav , your childhood bestfriend, my own mom and dad, Chinmay they all threatened me that they would kill me if you cry because of me. 
I was flabbergasted hearing that my bestfriend I just gave her the news and Robbie's no yesterday and she has managed to threaten this man I couldn't help but laugh loudly. 
Ohh poor Robbie I pity you. Let's not give them a chance now shall we. I am tired I want to sleep let's get to PG fast fast come on. I dragged him with me after reaching the gate I said see you tomorrow don't smoke okay he didn't say anything I said promise me you won't smoke again , he said I smoke only once today atleast 1 more before I sleep not more than 1 I promise . I was too tired from crying I said okay only one not more than that. 
I walked away with my novels. If this is what dating felt like, I love this feeling. 
He went away after I entered the building. 
I washed my face did my skincare till then Robbie had texted me that he had reached his home safely. I smiled at that said good night and went to sleep with a smile on my face.
