Arizona had managed to successfully avoid Y/N for the last few hours. She moved from one floor to another, finding solace in her work, but now she was at the nurse's station on the fourth floor, engrossed in filling out charts.
As she looked over a patient's file, she heard footsteps approaching. Glancing up, she saw April Kepner walking toward her with a determined look.
"Hey, Arizona," April greeted her.
"Hey, April," Arizona replied, keeping her eyes on the chart in front of her.
April hesitated for a moment before diving into the topic. "So, did you and Dr. Y/L/N... you know, sleep together last night?"
Arizona, still focused on the chart, answered absentmindedly, "I don't know."
April's eyebrows shot up. "What do you mean you don't know?"
Arizona finally looked up from her charts, her confusion apparent. "I mean, I don't remember. I woke up half-naked in her bed, and I can't remember much from last night."
April's eyes widened. "Wait, you were half-naked in her bed?"
Realization dawned on Arizona, and she began to panic. "Oh my God, what if we really did sleep together? This is going to make work ten times more awkward."
April placed a reassuring hand on Arizona's shoulder. "You need to ask Y/N outright and stop avoiding her. It's the only way you'll get answers."
Arizona shook her head, her panic evident. "I can't. It's too embarrassing."
April sighed. "You can't hide from her forever, Arizona."
Just then, Arizona glanced at her pager and quickly pretended to be paged. "Oh, look at that, I'm needed in the OR," she said, nervously laughing. "Gotta go!"
April crossed her arms and watched as Arizona hurriedly left the nurse's station. "You can't hide from her forever!" she called down the hall, but Arizona was already gone.

It was now lunchtime at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, and the cafeteria buzzed with the chatter of doctors and nurses grabbing a moment to relax. Arizona sat at a table with April, picking at her salad absentmindedly.
April took a bite of her sandwich and looked at Arizona. "So, have you found out if you slept with Y/N?"
Arizona shook her head, sighing. "No, I told you I've been avoiding her all day. I'm saving myself the embarrassment."
April frowned, clearly concerned. "Don't you think avoiding her won't get you very far? Sooner or later, you'll have to face her."
Arizona slurped on her drink, her eyes wandering around the cafeteria. As she took a sip, she caught a glimpse of Y/N in the lunch line. Her breath hitched as she noticed a nurse, seemingly too overly friendly, chatting with Y/N.
April noticed Arizona's fixed stare and couldn't help but comment. "You are staring at her, Zona."
Arizona quickly turned her head back around, raising her eyebrows defensively. "I am not staring."
April rolled her eyes, a knowing smile on her face. "You totally are. You've been avoiding her all day, and now you can't take your eyes off her. Just go talk to her."
Arizona looked down at her plate, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks. "Shut it, April."
As Arizona and April continued their playful bickering, a familiar scent of cherry blossoms filled the air. Arizona's head snapped around, and she found herself face-to-face with Y/N, who stood in front of their table.
"Hey," Y/N said with a warm smile. "Would it be okay if I joined you? I don't really know anyone here yet."
April welcomed her reassuringly, "Of course, have a seat. We're just having lunch."
As Y/N settled down, the three of them began talking. After a few minutes, April's pager went off. She glanced at it and sighed. "I've been paged to the ER. You two enjoy your lunch." With a wink at Arizona, she left, leaving them alone.
An awkward silence settled between Arizona and Y/N. Arizona poked at her salad, trying to find the right words. Finally, she broke the ice. "So... you failed to mention you were a surgeon coming to work in this hospital last night."
Y/N gave a small laugh. "Well, you failed to mention you were a surgeon until you were throwing up in my bathroom."
Arizona's face flushed with embarrassment as she hid it in her hands. "Seriously, I threw up in your bathroom? I'm so sorry."
Y/N shook her head, her smile reassuring. "No, no, it's okay. Don't worry about it."
Arizona nervously played with her salad, the tension building inside her. She took a deep breath and decided to ask the question that had been haunting her all day. "So... did we, uh... sleep together last night?"
Y/N paused from eating and raised an eyebrow, making Arizona's worry intensify. Suddenly, Y/N burst out laughing.
Arizona, now even more concerned, let out a nervous laugh. "Why are you laughing?"
Y/N composed herself, still chuckling. "You seriously don't remember last night at all?"
Arizona shook her head, feeling even more embarrassed. "No, I don't."
Y/N leaned in, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Okay, I'll tell you what happened last night..."
