The cityscape was a chaotic mess, with two giants battling it out in the middle of the street. Their Gigantification Quirks had turned a simple dispute into a full-scale disaster. Buildings crumbled, cars were tossed aside like toys, and the terrified screams of civilians filled the air.
I flew above the scene, my heart pounding with determination. "Nejire Wave!" I shouted, unleashing a powerful blast of energy from my hands. The spiraling wave of energy struck both giants, forcing them to the ground with a thunderous crash. They groaned in pain, struggling to get back up.
"Hey, you two!" I yelled, hovering just above them. "You're causing all this destruction just because you both have the same Quirk? That's ridiculous!"
The giant villains looked up at me, anger and confusion in their eyes. Before they could react, I gave the signal. "Uravity! Froppy! Now!"
From behind the rubble, Ochaco and Tsuyu sprang into action. Ochaco used her Quirk to lift massive chunks of debris into the air, while Tsuyu's tongue wrapped around the weightless rubble.
"Meteor Fafrotskies!" they shouted in unison. The rubble rained down like meteors, bombarding the giant villains with relentless force. Each impact sent shockwaves through the ground, and the giants were soon overwhelmed, collapsing unconscious amid the wreckage.
I landed gracefully next to my interns, a proud smile on my face. "Great job, you two! Were you nervous?"
Ochaco shook her head, still catching her breath. "We just followed your plan, Nejire. It worked perfectly."
Tsuyu nodded, her usual calm demeanor unchanged. "Surprisingly, I felt very calm during the whole thing."
Just then, Ryukyu, the "Dragoon Hero" and my mentor, appeared from the sky, landing beside us. She surveyed the scene with an approving nod. "Well done, Nejire. Now I see why you brought these two along. They have great potential."
Ochaco and Tsuyu both bowed respectfully. "Thank you for taking us on, Ryukyu!" Ochaco said, her voice filled with gratitude.
Tsuyu added, "We're really thankful for this opportunity."
Ryukyu smiled warmly at them. "You've both done well. I'll help you hone your abilities further. We have a big task ahead of us, one that involves teaming up with some very important heroes."
I perked up at this, curious. "What kind of task, Ryukyu?"
"We'll be teaming up with Sir Nighteye, All Might's former sidekick, and his interns, Lemillion and Izuku," Ryukyu explained. "Additionally, we'll be working with another hero and his interns, Red Riot and Suneater."
Ochaco looked puzzled. "Why are we teaming up with them?"
Ryukyu's expression grew serious. "It's because of the villain organization, the Shie Hassaikai. There's reason to believe they're connected to the League of Villains. This is a big job, and we need all the help we can get."
As she spoke, my thoughts drifted to Izuku. with his tall frame and those strikingly defined features that set him apart from the rest. His hair, with just subtle hints of green, always reminded me of fresh leaves in springtime.
I caught myself daydreaming and quickly snapped back to reality, my cheeks slightly warm. This wasn't the time to get distracted. We had a mission to prepare for, and I needed to stay focused. but thoughts weren't going away.
"Alright, let's get ready," I said, trying to sound more confident than I felt. "We have a lot of work ahead of us."
As we headed back to our base, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and anxiety. This mission would be dangerous, but with heroes like Izuku and Mirio by our side, I felt a strange sense of reassurance. We were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
