Caspian woke up the next day with a head splitting ache and groaned loudly, buring his face in his pillow till the ringing died down.
Carefully pushing himself to sit up, he took in his surroundings and realized he was in his dorm room. The other side was empty meaning Freya was in class.
Rubbing the sides of his temples, Caspian looked around till he found a glass of water and a bottle of aspirin on top his bedside table. A note attached to the glass, he plucked it up and read;
I'm really sorry for leaving you alone Cassie. Thanks to Miss Silvia we got home safe. I'll talk to you after class. Take the aspirin to help with your headache.
-Freya
Even the mention of her name got his heart to rile up as he remembered every thing that had occured last night.
It was Silvia, who had saved him and threatened that man, in her chilly, hot voice.
But why?
Caspian groaned frustratedly and shoved his face back in his pillow, screaming and pounding his fists on the bed.
Why did she care if anyone touched him or not?! How dare she come in his rescue after having the nerve to kiss someone else right before his eyes?!?
Caspian needed answers. Right now.
Getting out of his bed, he fished his phone out of his pocket and without much thought, called Silvia.
To his surprise, she picked up on the second ring.
"Caspian. Are you okay?"
He hated how her unusual effectionate and warm tone melted his heart.
"We need to talk."
A pause and a sigh later, she replied.
"Where?"
"Outside the club from last night."
"Fine. I'm not free till 8."
"Okay."
She hung up before him, and it irked the boy more than he'd like to admit.
Finally after three agonizing days spent in ignorance, he'd get his answers out of her. No matter how. He wasn't gonna just let her push him away without any justified reason.
Taking the pill and swallowing it with water, Caspian went to the washroom to shower and get ready for the day, with a newfound determination to keep him going.

Caspian arrived at the club sharp at 8, and spotted Silvia's car in the parking lot, he decided to wait there for her.
Anticipation was killing him as he tapped his foot on the ground and kept checking the club gates to see if she's coming or not.
Around 8:12, Silvia finally appeared from the backdoor, their eyes locked, and his heart started thrumming loudly in his chest.
Her face remained expressionless as she walked over to him and stopped, arms crossed over her chest.
Caspian felt small and timid in front of her intimidating frame.
"What did you want to talk about?"
Looking in her dark eyes, Caspian gulped thickly, preparing himself for the answers he might not like.
"You saved me from that man." He began, fiddling with his fingers.
"Yeah, so?"
"Why?"
