Right now I'm at a party hanging out with Jeff and Zach when we see Clay leaving. "Clay" Jeff and I shout 
"Hey guys," He says and we walk over 
"You leaving?" Jeff asks 
"Yeah I am," He says 
"Looked like shit was happening for you in there,"  Jeff says 
"Did it?" 
"Dind't it?" 
"I don't know man... I don't even know... anything" 
"That's why you got me, man. I know Whatever happened in there... just give her a minute. Then go back inside and just find her." 
"I'm going home," Clay says 
"No, Clay," I say 
"Just hang with us for a while, man. We're going on a beer run soon. Come with us."  He says wrapping an arm around me. 
"You're driving?" Clay asks 
"Co-cola my friend. Two beers, two hours ago. I'm good." He says 
"Thanks, Jeff but I'm good. I'm gonna take a long walk home and consider the wreckage that is my life." He says 
"You're a funny dude, Clay" 
"So I've been told. See you guys."  He says and walks away 
"Let's go make out," I say to Jeff then we go 
After a few minutes, we get in Jeff's car "My aunt's gonna kill me" I say to Jeff and he looks at me 
"Clay came home and he was drunk and they were mad," I say then we look at each other for a moment, and then something hits us and I let out a scream and everything goes black. 
"Sophie, Sophie!" Clay shouts trying to open the door.

My eyes flutter open as I'm met with a bright light I let out a groan my head is killing me. I open my eyes and I see Clay sitting in a hospital chair and My aunt half asleep next to me. 
"Lainie," I say with my raspy voice 
She wakes up and looks at me with tears in her eyes "Thank God" She cries
"What happened?" I asked and Clay was now up
"Honey there was a car accident," She says 
"Where's Jeff is he okay?" I ask
"Honey Jeff didn't make it," She says 
"No, no," I say sobbing now and she wraps her arms around me as I sob.
