Chapter 21 - Adrenaline Junkie

                                    

                                          
It's been about a month since Isaak, Trevor, and Pearce came to Forks. Harley did turn Pearce a couple of weeks ago and his training is going well. Pearce is sired to Harley, but she doesn't abuse it, Harley did however threaten that if Pearce ever broke Trevor's heart she would hunt him down and destroy him. She effectively scared the living crap out of him. Regardless, Pearce absolutely adored Harley, even before she agreed to turn him. Pearce sees Harley as a little sister, even if she is technically older than him. Physically he is older, but if they go by actual age, she obviously had him beat.
Bella had been slowly getting better. She was still somewhat in a zombie-like state unless she was at Harley's around her, the brothers, and Pearce. As for if anything happened between Isaak and Bella? The answer would be no. Isaak likes Bella a lot, and Bella likes him too, but Isaak knows Bella just got out of a really messy relationship with a cold one and he wants her to fully heal before anything more than friendship happens between them. Bella knows this and it makes her like Isaak even more. Bella is over Edward, but the damage he left behind is still taking its toll, causing her semi-zombie like state. She wants to be with Isaak, but she knows he is right and she needs to give herself a little more time to heal before anything healthy can happen between them.
Charlie has met the boys and he really liked them. He thought they were good for both Harley and Bella, even if they were slightly older than them. Physically speaking the boys were all in their mid-twenties and the girls were both 18. Regardless of liking the boys, Charlie was still worried about Bella, so he issued her an ultimatum. To either get completely out of her funk and hang out with some more of her friends, or she would be moving to Florida with her mom. So that led to where Harley and Bella are now, with Jessica exiting a movie theater in Port Angeles after watching some awful zombie film.
"I don't get why there are so many zombie movies."  Bella says walking in between the two girls.
"I don't either. They should make more vampire movies. Vampires are hot, and their faces don't look like they have been melted off." Harley says jokingly and Bella laughs.
"Maybe it's, like, a metaphor? For crass consumerism or something." Jessica says and both girls glance at her. "Not that you'd know anything about consuming. You didn't buy anything today." Jessica says to Bella.
"I bought something." Bella says
"Yeah socks." Harley says
"And all you bought was art supplies."
"Better than socks." Harley says and Bella rolls her eyes.
"I was surprised you even called." Jessica says to Bella
"I've been kind of...out of it lately." Bella says
"Kind of? I mean, at first I was worried. Then I'm like, okay, she's still bumming? It's not like I wasn't              going through things, too. Like Mike              deciding he wanted to "just be friends?"              That was really hard and I just don't get it because we are perfect for each other." 
"I'm sure it will all work out Jess." Harley says and Bella agrees.
"So what's with the single guy that moved in with you, Isaak is his name right?" Jessica asks Harley
"Yeah. Isaak, his brother Trevor and Trev's boyfriend Pearce moved in with me last month."
"Are you an Isaak, like, a thing?" Jessica asks and Harley snorts out a laugh.
"God no. I love Isaak but we have known each other forever. There is nothing going on there but a familial type of love."
"So is he seeing anyone?"
