18. Hustle and Bustle

                                    

                                          

Agent Ghost hastened as she reached her Cabin in the headquarters. The call for the meeting came out of nowhere and she didn't have a good feeling about it. She wanted to reach as soon as possible but she couldn't directly walk into the office. The elaborate process of changing her attire, going through the back as a worker and again changing into formals to attend the meeting irritated her.

She dashed into the cabin to find, Agent Black and Agent Ice already present discussing something seriously.

"I need to leave for Spain as soon as possible" Agent Ice announced 
"What happened?" Ghost sat in her chair
"We got the intel that there is a gang war going on in Madrid, Spain. If I leave now, I can be there when it subdues, as there will be many causalities, they would recruit me easily and I can also build my background before meeting them" Ice spoke. 
"Ghost, explain to her that leaving so soon can be dangerous" Black exasperated. 
"He is right Ice; we can't make decisions in a hurry" Ghost put forward her point.
"Listen to me guys, they will be vulnerable, furious and burning in vengeance, it'll be very easy for me to infiltrate them and grow in rank. And Ghost if you are in my position don't you want to take advantage of this situation"
"But Meera" Black spoke.
"We are officers Black, we can't stay back thinking about safety," Agent Ice spoke, black nodded in agreement, "And if you ever call me by my name on duty, I severe to God, I am gonna smack you hard"
Ghost chuckled as Black gulped in fear looking at Agent Ice
"Hmm... fine then Agent Ice. I'll talk to head, pack your bags, you'll be leaving soon"
"Thank you, Agent" she smirked at Black, who rolled his eyes
"Listen to me carefully Ice, we both know the dangers there, please take care of my friend. I want both my officer and friend back safe and sound. And you'll call me as soon as you observe the slightest doubt arising in their minds"
"Yaar tu sentii mat ban aur ye Rajvir bi tum jaise bangay. I'll be alright, I'll try to keep in touch" Agent Ice stood up
Hugging each other, and bidding goodbyes, they dispersed.

They all reached the resort last night, hitting the bed as early as 1 in the morning coz the next day is filled with events. However, our KarEena too exhausted with all the work couldn't manage enough time to talk before going to bed.
"Good morning, Mi Amor!" Haseena whispered 
Karishma smiled snuggling more into her, however before the peaceful morning made its magic, something else dawned on Karishma, she sat straight, staring at Haseena wide-eyed.
"How did you...," she cleared her morning throat, "How did you come into the room?" Karishma turned towards the door which was still bolted 
"Window" Haseena shrugged as she laid back relaxing, 
"Haseena, do you have any idea how dangerous it is? Did you hurt yourself anywhere?" Karishma asked checking her
"Tch... Arey Mi Amor, I am used to these things, I am completely fine. Ek Good morning tho bolo yaar" Haseena pouted
"Hmm... one of these days, you are going to give a heart attack," Karishma shook her head as she hugged her laying back, "Good morning" she pecked her lips
