But Mihrimah lay on her bed as a fever consumed her. The torture and wounds had taken a hard toll on her body.

Despite the cool cloth Selcan had placed on her forehead, the heat seemed to seep into her very bones, dragging her into a deep sleep.

In her fevered state, the world around Mihrimah began to blur and change. The walls of the tent faded away, replaced by an open field under the blue sky. The air was filled with the scent of wildflowers, and a gentle breeze caressed her skin. She felt a sense of calm wash over her.

As she looked around, she noticed a figure in the distance. Tall and imposing, the man was clad in Kayi armor, his presence radiated strength and authority. As he drew nearer, Mihrimah's breath caught in her throat. It was her grandfather, Ertuğrul Bey.

''Grandfather?'' she whispered in disbelief.

Ertuğrul Bey smiled at his granddaughter. ''Mihrimah.'' he said, his voice deep and soothing. ''You have grown into a strong and courageous woman.''

Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at him. ''I've missed you so much.'' she said with a trembling voice and hugged her grandfather.

''And I have watched over you.'' he replied. ''You have faced many trials, and I am proud of the strength you have shown.'

Mihrimah felt very emotional. ''Everything felt so difficult, and I felt so alone.''

Ertuğrul Bey pulled her away and placed his hands on her shoulders. ''You have never been alone, Mihrimah. Your ancestors are with you, guiding you and giving you strength.''

She nodded, taking a deep breath. ''But I don't know what to do now.'' she confessed. ''I can't fight after what Alemshah did to my hands, and it will take some time for me to heal.''

Her grandfather's expression grew serious. ''Trust in your heart, Mihrimah. You are also very intelligent, and you can also aid your uncle that way. And remember, love is a powerful force. It can give you strength and guide you even in the darkest of times.''

''Love? What does that have to do with anything?'' she asked, while her mind drifted to Konur and the feelings she had been trying to deny.

Ertuğrul Bey nodded. ''Love can be a source of great strength if you allow yourself to embrace it. Do not be afraid to open your heart.''

As he spoke, the field around them began to fade, and the dream started to slip away like sand through her fingers. ''Grandfather, wait!'' she called, reaching out to him. He smiled one last time, his image becoming hazy.

With that final image of her grandfather, Mihrimah woke. She was back in her tent, her fever was down, but her head did feel a little heavy, and her body still ached. She blinked a few times, trying to orient herself.
