NATALIE TORETTO made a mistake

NATALIE TORETTO made a mistake. A mistake that cost her the only home she'd ever known and one of the things she held most dear - her family. After a breakup-gone-bad, as well as a heated screaming match with her older brother, Dominic, Natalie left Los Angeles with only a few select belongings and her winnings from various street races.

Six months of travelling and the odd street race later, she finally decided to settle down in London - and boy, was Natalie glad she did.

Shortly after she arrived in the big city, Natalie found herself in the company of the Kings, an infamous family within the world of shadows and mercenaries. Leading the family was Andromeda King, a formidable former guns-for-hire, who cared for and loved the Toretto woman as if she were her own blood.

Speaking of blood, the family grew larger with Andromeda's three children: Xavier (the eldest son), Nicholas (the middle child), and Alice (the youngest of the bunch). All three took to Natalie like she had been born into the family, which would have put Dominic to shame if he saw how much love she was surrounded with.

Each of the siblings had their partners - Xavier was married to Wren Jackson, a talented artist who owned her own gallery, Nicholas was married to Zoey Jenkins, a highly-trained assassin with a dark past, and Alice was married to Bianca Ringfield, a skilled street-racer.

All three of the Kings-by-marriage were also sisters to Natalie, which meant that the Toretto woman had the biggest, most loving, and deadliest support system.

The family didn't want anything or anyone to be able to hurt Natalie, or use her for a revenge scheme against them, so after months of blood, sweat, bruises, and endless training, Natalie went from being the leverage to being the one that their enemies feared the most.

Nothing could beat her - not even the people who trained her.

The day that she completed her training was the day that Natalie Toretto died, and Natalie King was born.

That was, until, Natalie Shaw took her place.

Not only did she find her true family in the form of the Kings, but Natalie also found the one person who made her feel completely and utterly alive - her husband, Deckard Shaw.

DECKARD SHAW made a mistake. A mistake that forced him to dive further into the shadows after he placed his trust in the wrong person. Thankfully, his wife was more than willing to take that dive with him - so they disappeared, together.

Despite being on the run from every major intelligence agency in the world, the couple felt every worry melt away whenever they were in each other's company. To them, there was no disappearing, running, or hiding - they were just Deck and Nats, exploring all of the beautiful places the world had to offer.

They managed to see their family regularly, and even earn the title of godparents to the most adorable little girl: Piper Jackson-King, daughter of Wren and Xavier.

It was bliss.

But good things always come to an end eventually.

After five years, the married couple were finally drawn back to London upon hearing that Deckard's brother, Owen Shaw, had gotten himself tangled with a job requested by a certain cyberterrorist, who doesn't take rejection lightly.
