This is the story of a man who continues to pursue his destiny. After an encounter with his former friends, family, and an unexpected confrontation from Viral, life continues on for the young boy and his friends. However, one thing is still missing in the young boy's life and is completely necessary in order for him to continue on his path. It's time for Izuku to confront his emotions and finally let out what he has bottled up for so long.
Chapter 21: Love Reborn
Two weeks after the incident with the traitors and Viral, all of the checkpoints built for Izuku's forces had been finished and each checkpoint was now up and running. This included the new base Izuku had planned for with Nezu's help. However, though much maintenance was needed, one matter must be taken care of. In fact, that matter had just sprung up.
Mirio: "Corner them, Izuku! We've got 'em on the run!"
Izuku: "No use! They're too fast for us!"
Izuku and Mirio were in Gurren Lagann currently chasing down a group of Gunmen that had attempted to attack Musutafu's uptown areas. This was the 20th Gunmen attack this month and Izuku was getting tired of it. However, thankfully, the two had backup with them.
Mt. Lady: "Take this!"
Mt. Lady appears from the right and swings her gigantificated leg at one of the Gunmen. However, that Gunmen still dodged leaving the giant woman shocked.
Mt. Lady: "How can they be so fast?"
Gurren Lagann jumps over Mt. Lady before continuing to chase after the Gunmen.
Izuku: "Sorry, Yu, nice try!"
Mt. Lady: "I told you to stop using my name while we're in public!"
Izuku: In the distance "Bite meeeeeeeee!"
Mt. Lady: Sighs "That sassy asshole."
Endeavor: Through comms "Mt. Lady, stay focused!"
Currently, Endeavor burned through a group of villains while keeping two civilians safe.
Endeavor: "We've already agreed on leaving the Beastmen and Gunmen to Gurren Lagann! Those boys can handle themselves, we need you down here!"
Mt. Lady: Sighs "Fine!"
Mt. Lady looks in the direction Izuku ran off before turning back.
Mt. Lady: "Kick their asses, kid!"
Meanwhile, Izuku and Mirio had finally caught up with the enemy Gunmen and began kicking them into the pavement. However, the Gunmen soon gathered up again and stood up to the two-mecha-combined machine.
Lead Beastman: "You call that combining?! We'll show you combining! Everyone, 16 face combining!"
