                  |Three Months back|

The trip to New York was incredible. Daneen still couldn't stop talking about it and she too enjoyed the sightseeing, scenery, food and places of there. But there was something as well that was oozing a puzzling feeling inside Andaleeb's heart apart from the obvious joy. It was the meeting with that stranger. She didn't know why she couldn't stop thinking about him, their encounter, his words, and then the way he kept his promises, but didn't let her to protect one.

His things were still in her possession and she didn't know what to do with them. Every time they peeked at her from her en suite leaving her with baffling emotions. Why didn't he take his belongings back? What was the use of making them a sign for her to always remember him? Sometimes Andaleeb would be thinking of just that Shah and no one else. Not even Aurang. She still discreetly talked to him but she didn't know it wasn't that fun and wholesome to have sneaky calls with him in the darkness of the night as it was earlier.

This night too, the same thing happened. After having a warm bath, when she opened her en suit, her eyes again caught the sight of the pendant having a key-shaped pattern. She took it in her hand and regarded it keenly. Why there was only a key? Where was the lock? If Shah deliberately hadn't grabbed his things back, this means perhaps he wanted her to find its key. The necklace didn't have one. It was something else. Something which if was mysterious, it wanted her to find the deeper meanings.

Shah.

Her mind froze here. He said he was the son of a famous landlord in Sindh. Perhaps he would have an account on any social media platform. Wearing her white camisole and loose trousers with a nightgown over it, she walked back into her room. Grabbing her laptop, she sat on the edge of her bed and turned it on. On the search engine, her fingers did stop for a moment to analyze what she should exactly write. Not finding anything useful, she just decided to go with the flow. Andaleeb typed Sindh's Landlord Shah family on the keyboard. After a while, the page gave her many unnecessary information, not the one she was looking out for. After wasting her time on trying for a couple of attempts more, she left it.

Why was she becoming so curious about him? He was gone and she should really throw his things in a dustbin. However, she knew that something in her would never allow her to do so.

Her phone beeped, bringing her out of her thoughts. She searched around for her phone and what she read there, made her still.

"Thinking about me?"

She thought it was Aurang who was messaging her from another number. She ignored it for the time being and went to sleep.

That was the moment when she started getting these peculiar and romantic messages. Even the next morning, when she left without breakfast for the university, the same person messaged her again.
