3rd person:
"Why'd you fall for me, when it was you who said you hated me? which was the reason why I moved on for you." y/n placed the napkin away, as alice averted her gaze. 
The tension rised as none of them spoke until they finished their meals.
"I didn't hate you." Alice finally found the courage to speak.
"Mhmm.." y/n hummed sarcastically.
"Do you still have the darry ring I gave you? I can only buy it once since it was in the terms of agreement, meaning I can only gift it to once." 
"Oh.. so you mean it's meant for one person?"
"Yes, unfortunately correct. Meaning that darry ring is special since it's supposed to signify that you'll love only one person in your whole life." 
Alice tilted her head, is y/n trying to hint something? she only got flustered from the explanation, remembering she saw that ring box unopened.
"I haven't opened it yet so I don't know what it looks like." Alice let out an awkward chuckle.
Earning no response once more, the tension was eased as the waitress brought their dessert. Two flans and one coffee jelly.
"Sorry po mga ma'am, naubos na po yung coffee jelly namin." 
"It's alright, we'll share." 
Her sharp gaze only made the waitress yearn to leave immediately, well considering y/n had a thing for dessert, it's obvious she's slightly unhappy.
"Ah ako hindi na ko kakain ng coffee jelly, sayo nalang.." Alice tried bringing peace with her mood.
"No, I know you like coffee jelly back then too, we shared them frequently when we were teens diba?" 
Alice couldn't say anything else.
Y/n took a spoonful of the flan and instantly became like her past self, one thing that never changed about her was she can never forget about dessert.
Alice didn't think y/n would be mad if she took a photo so she got her phone and took dozens of pictures while y/n was still in a good mood.
"You still love flan?" 
"It's sweet."
"Ako din naman ah.." 
y/n paused not knowing if she misheard Alice.
"But you were once bitter."
y/n finished the flan and poured a fair amount of coffee jelly in another bowl.
Both stayed silent once more, Alice felt bad, y/n who was only trying to court her, to love her had to endure everything she had done. Such as ignoring her and mistreating her compared to others. Looking back if she were in y/n's position, she would've left earlier.
