Alessandra's POV
He bit into me harshly causing me to let out a small gasp and I'm holding onto his shoulders trying to make some distance pushing him a bit. To no avail, it of course, does nothing. Ruki looked up at me with blood dripping from his mouth.
"You really allowed that thing to drink from you? You should know better than that, but I'll be taking my leave. Thanks, though. It was very much appreciated."
With that he left. I kind of just stared blankly at the hall slightly conflicted.
"He's right, you know? I'm much better, though."
A soft voice said from behind me as his hands wrapped around my waist. "Really now?" He sighed ready to teleport us till we heard commotion outside.
"Reiji, wants everyone down. Your father is here," Yui announced and walked off. Shu sighed again holding me tighter and teleported us to the main room.
Tougo. He looked exactly the same as I remembered.
"Alessandra! Tougo's here! Could you set the table while I get the door?" Without hesitation I did. I already knew what he was here for and when he came he immediately greeted both my parents and sister. I set the coffee and tea down as my father, Francesco, talked to him.
"It's been so long since I last seen you and Alessia. How are you," he asked me as I gave him his cup. "I'm good," I replied. I had my suspicions about him being a vampire. Call it crazy, but I always did. His pale white skin, his fang like teeth and the way he acted had me thinking about it.
"Can she at least meet my sons and then decide if she would like to go? She's the True Eve, she must go!"
My father sighed and immediately I said, "If I were to agree will you leave my parents alone with this question? I overheard the calls."
"Alessandra, you aren't going and don't speak to him like th-" "It's fine, and technically yes I would. I'll be sure to contact my sons and tell them to treat you with the utmost respect. To also confirm your suspicions, yes, I am a vampire." My father choked on his tea for a second and before he could respond Tougo continued. "I'm sorry for shocking you as much, Francesco, but clearly she's been wanting this to be confirmed and I did."
"What did you mean by "True Eve," I asked thinking back on the last bit of what he said before I came. He only had a small smile before going forth. "You fit all the requirements. You see only one of my sons need to get married and the Eve needs to have a pure heart which is what you have."
"Listen, my daughter isn't going," my father interjected. Tougo turned to say "She's the True Eve. She must come to the Sakamaki mansion and choose one of my sons to be the heir. No other girl has ever met all such requirements for this. Please she must go!"
"Alessandra," Tougo exclaimed happily and pulled me into a hug. "I see my sons seem to be the same. Always so scornful. I only came to stop by and see how she's doing."
"Well, you clearly see she's doing well," Ayato snapped grabbing ahold of me. "No need to get so angry, Ayato," Tougo said unbothered by how defensive Ayato was.
An hour passed and he left much to everyone's pleasure. "Why didn't you tell us sooner?!" Subaru yelled at Reiji. "You're acting like our father has ever given us a warning of when he'll arrive," Ayato muttered.
"Let's not stress about it, yeah," Laito suggested and as odd as it seemed everyone agreed to and left to do whatever they were up to earlier.
I went to my room looking at myself in the mirror. The bite marks on me, as expected, visible.
"You ok?" He crept behind me again recreating the same action he did earlier. He kissed me before biting into my neck slowly, yet painlessly. Shu was always so laid back and gentle, though, I wish we spent more time together.
He looked up pulling me closer to him.
