"What the fuck!?" Adam said in frustration.

My leg stills. Why the hell did Luke need to do this!? He contacted the terrorists. This can be the last day of our lives.

"But..." I said. "You know them, right? You can tell them to stop when they come here! Or just do it now!" I could feel my blood pressure too high right now.

Luke let out a dry laugh. "I can't." He said and looked at me with a tight lip smile. "Just like last time, they were just contacted by Adam's id but didn't know who it really was... And now, it's the same. They don't know me, how can you say they'd believe me?"

My leg loosened and I fell on the floor on my knees.

"Rosie!" Adam shouted and came trembling towards me. "Don't worry. I will never let anything happen to you." He caressed my head and hugged me against his waist.

Tears started falling down off my cheeks as i hugged him back and closed my eyes.

Adam turns his head towards Luke. "Have you paid them?"

"Unfortunately, yes." He said, slid one chair and sat on it.

"Fuck it!" Adam sighed heavily. After a few seconds he looks at Luke again. "Can they believe it once you show them the payment history?"

I opened my eyes back in belief.

Luke scratched his head and smiled. "Well... that can work. I can try. But fuck!" He punched on his chair handle. "Why the hell am I helping you!"

"Because you now regret what you did years ago!" I yelled just as he finished his sentence.

Dead silence for a few minutes. Luke breaks the silence with a chuckle. "You know what, Rose... You are a really good person to change others' minds." He stood up and walked towards me and Adam. "I still hate you, Adam... but at last, the reason for what I hated you is gone..." He paused. "I...can try. At least you're my cousin after all."

"Try what?" Adam glared at him.

Luke turned around to face the entrance. "I mean... I can try to... forget all the past. I know it's difficult, but... I can try." He gulped.

Adam didn't say anything for some seconds and just stared at him. At last he blow out a soft laugh. Luke immediately turned around and looked at him laughing continuously.

"What's funny, bro!?" Luke raised his eyebrow.

Now Adam laughed loudly. I stared at him in confusion, and so Luke.

Finallyy! Adam stops laughing and said, "It's surprising, Luke." He smiled. "You really do regret your actions. You really do wanna forget all that mess that happened years ago. At first it was hard to believe that, but just now when you..." He chuckled again. "when you called me 'bro'... I believed it. You meant it, didn't you?" Adam winks at him.

Luke pouted and side eyed Adam. "Whatever..."

Adam chuckled again and just then... Shit! they're here.

My heart started beating faster and my lungs were craving for oxygen. I want to leave here as soon as possible. I gripped Adam's arms tightly. He caressed my hands and gave me an assuring look. Luke walked towards the entrance.

"Hear me first!" Luke shouted as the terrorists entered.

They were 5-6...7...8..or I can't even count. Maybe 31. Some of them pointed their guns at Luke and some at us. My breath hitched and Adam covers me behind him.
