Since I didn't celebrate christmas with her I'm planning to take her out but and Amari asked her first. She always have one step ahead.
"Just cancel the reservation." I told my secretary. 
"Yes, ma'am." Sagot niya.
I made a reservation for us because I want us to have a late celebration for christmas and new year but I didn't know Amari did the same too. 
I'm here at the restaurant where Sage's work and I'm waiting for tita Portia, tumawag kasi ito kagabi and gusto niya raw ako makausap. Today is sunday so I'm expecting to see her today but I guess hindi siya pumasok. 
"Kylie, can I ask a favor?" She said while waiting for our order. 
"What is it, tita?" I asked. 
"I want to know the truth, I want to know if Sage is really my daughter or not." She explained. 
"How can I help you po?" I asked again. 
"I want to conduct a DNA test, pwede mo ba ako tulungan makakuha ng DNA sample niya?" She reached my hand. "I'm really desperate to know the truth, hija." She added. 
So it means that her daughter is not actually dead? 
"I'll try to ask her, tita. I'll tr—" She cut me off. 
"No, huwag mong sabihin sakanya dahil alam ko na hindi siya papayag." She said. 
"You want to get her DNA without her permission?" She nod. "Tita, I can't do that. I can't betray her, I'm sorry." I said. 
I don't want to lose her trust. 
"Please just think about it. I'll wait, Kylie, and I hope you can help me." Sagot niya. 
I'm still thinking about what tita Portia asked me. I want to help her but I can't just get Sage's DNA without her permission, I'm afraid na baka magalit siya sakin at worst I'll lost her for good. 
I noticed that she's not okay and she also look pale so after my class I dragged her to the clinic. 
"She just need a good rest, kaya siya maputla at maiinit dahil kulang sa pahinga. Pero magiging okay rin siya." She explained. 
Mahirap ba talaga para sakanya ang magpahinga kahit isang araw lang? 
Sinabi ko kay Alexis ang nangyari kay Sage and I also told her napagsabihan ang kaibigan niya. 
"She rejected me again." Biglang sabi ni Amari. 
Where here outside the clinic and we're waiting them to come out. 
"Why?" I asked. 
I thought she also like Amari. 
"She doesn't want to be selfish, she wants me to choose our friendship." She answered. 
"So you're going to give up?" I asked again. 
"Yes, so if she'll choose you— please ingatan mo siya. I love her, I truly do, but I can't afford to hurt you, too." She hold my hand. 
"Amari." I called her. 
I can clearly see that she's hurting. 
"Mas mahalaga ang pagkakaibigan natin, Kylie." She pulled me into a hug. 
"Thank you." I said. 
Me and Amari offer her a ride and I was surprised because she choose me. I really thought na si Amari ang sasabayan niya. 
Inaya niya akong mag dinner kami sabay and I thought dinner lang pero inaya niya ulit ako mag ice cream. I actually feel deja vu right now. Huling nakita ko siya ay nong kumain kami ng ice cream and I really can't forget that night.
