We sat in the infirmary room. Florian was finally asleep after crying all night about being in pain. I didn't understand what was going on, I was charging my phone because it was dead. When it turned on it was pinging like crazy. Marcus tried to get ahold of me by calling or texting me. I sighed before looking at my brother and Gloria asleep. It was six in the morning, and we were all exhausted, but I couldn't sleep.

I picked up the phone and called his number. It rang once before he answered.

"Mira! I've been calling and texting. I know you're mad at me, but you didn't come back with the others! Where are you?"

"Marcus, I'm fine. My phone died.. We are at the wolves' place, because Florian collapsed, and they know about the Elven."

"Stay there, I'm coming." He said before hanging up.

I sighed, closing my phone and letting it charge. Great. I felt like a child who was in trouble. I leaned back in the uncomfortable chair staring at my brother as I closed my eyes trying to get some sleep, as I was too tired to stay awake anymore.

-------------------------

Two hours seemed to pass as I woke to Gloria awake and on the phone yelling at whoever was at the other end. I looked at her confused as she rolled her eyes, before mouthing that it was James.

I nodded my head, looking at my brother who was still unconscious.

"Do we know what's wrong with him?" I asked the young woman writing things down on a chart.

She looked at me, giving me a gentle smile. "Sadly no, I don't see what's causing him so much pain.. His pulse is very low as well.. We need to figure out what's going on so I can treat him." She said, frowning.

I frowned, standing and moving to his bedside as I held his hand.

There was a lot of howling outside and some people yelling. I turned my head as the door slammed open. Marcus stood there staring at me as he rushed over and hugged me, he held me in his arms and didn't let go. I gave a little smile seeing him so worried about me.

"I'm sorry for making you worry so much." I whispered against his chest.

He pulled away sighing as he cupped my face in his hands, looking down into my eyes.

"You're gonna give me a heart attack little flower." He smiled.

James rushed past us and to Florian. I turned to look at him.

"He collapsed and I have no idea why and she can't help unless we know what's going on.."

James looked at me, then at the woman who was on edge with them being inside the room.

"His wing, our pack doctor said it was badly damaged to a point where it was, affecting him badly." He told the lady.

She nodded worried before she moved over to the phone that was ringing and spoke to whoever was on it.

"His wings. Why didn't he tell me?" I whispered, looking at my brother.

"Because he didn't want you to worry, or ever tell us when he was in pain..We have to figure out how to heal it or fix it. Let's take him back to the house and we can figure it out there." He said.

"You can't move him without damaging it more. It's hanging on by a thread and if you touch him or move the wrong way, you'll kill him." She said, walking over. "My Alpha is on the way over.." She said, looking over.

"Are we supposed to be scared?" Marcus asked as I hit his chest.

"Be nice, he is allowing us here and didn't kill us, so please," I begged.

He sighed, nodding his head as he kept an arm around my waist. "Fine," he mumbled.

The door to the infirmary opened as the male from before came walking inside. "For you to enter on my land and not inform me you're coming is very ballsy, but also hurt my men who tried stopping you." He said as the door shut, giving them privacy to talk to one another.

"I wasn't letting anyone get in my way of getting to my lover." He said, pulling me closer to his body. I blushed looking at him but, then I looked at the male as he glared at Marcus.

"Lover or not, you didn't ask to come to my land and that's disrespecting me." His voice roared as he stepped up towards Marcus, who didn't back down.

Marcus moved as well as they got in each other's face staring at one another, I sighed moving between them and pushing them away. "Can we not fight.. Please.. You Alpha boy."

He raised an eyebrow, looking down at my hand, then at me. "Damian" he said simply.

"Damian, my brother needs help.. I need those Elven to come and help my brother or he will die. I am begging you to help me please." I said, staring at him.

He looked at me as something in him seemed to change when speaking to me, as he gently sighed.

"I will give them a call and tell them what's going on, but I cannot promise you they will come. They are private people, as I said."

"I understand, thank you." I said with a gentle smile, looking at Marcus who was clearly on edge but didn't do anything.

I moved to my brother's side and held his hand, frowning.

Damian moved to the side as he was on the phone with, I guess, those Elven people. I waited patiently by my brother's side as I couldn't believe he didn't tell me about his torn wing. It could be dangerous for Fae people..Though could I really call myself a Fae as I've never actually seen my wings.. Only my brother seemed to have them, but our fake parents told me never to tell anyone that I didn't have them, so I didn't. I didn't understand the pain he was in right now and it made me sad seeing him like this and feeling he would die on me if he wasn't cured.

Damian got off the phone and turned towards us.

"They are on their way. They were confused but were interested in who needed their assistance," he said simply, as he was looking at me.

I nodded my head, sighing when hearing that they were coming to help my brother. I smiled and kissed his head.

"You're gonna be okay. Just hang on." I whispered.

As I kissed his head, he began to shake as my eyes widened, the monitor was going off like crazy. Marcus pulled me back as the woman came rushing over to put the boy on his side.

"He is having a seizure! Get me the bag." She yelled at the nurses, who nodded, rushing to grab things from the other side of the room.

Tears came to my eyes, watching in fear.

The woman held the bag in her hand along with some gauze before the door opened. I turned my head to see tall men come inside the room. Blonde hair, pointy ears and very fancy clothes.

"Clear the room so we can work." was all the male said.

Damian nodded and looked at us. Marcus just nodded and dragged me along as I didn't want to and was fighting him the whole way out the room.

"He needs me!" I yelled, trying to crawl out of his arms as I cried.

"Mira please.. Let them work.." Marcus whispered into my ear to calm me.

I needed to be with my brother, I needed to know he was safe and alive. But a voice caught me out of my trance..

"Mirabela?" a gentle voice said with such an elegant accent.
