Author's Note

This chapter isn't really official since it doesn't include you or Rin. This is just to explain Sae and his situation with Momoka. It isn't really important, but I wanted to add it in case you guys were curious. I want to write a Sae fic soon and this will be added, obviously not with Momoka but for the reader.

The beaches in Kamakura were always serene. Time always seems to slow down when admiring the sunset as the waves lap at sandy shore ever so gently. The crystal clear waves were always so calm, always coming forth and pulling back with consistent rhythm. Sands so soft and white made the scenery even more tranquil. The view of the tall mountains surrounding Kamakura was the finishing touch to such a dreamlike state.

Sae has always liked late summers and he could never really pin point to why. It could be the fact that he was born in a beach city, which made him fond of summer activities by the sea. It could also be the warm sun that caresses his skin when he is enjoying a game of soccer with friends. No, it was definitely for a specific reason, a specific person. Five summers ago, he met a girl that changed his life. She never changed his life path nor him in anyway, she was a ray of gentle summer sunlight into his dull cloudy eyes. Sae has always liked late summers because he met Momoka.

"Sae, do you know where you put the lighter?" Momoka asked.

"I have it," Sae said, "let me light your sparklers first."

He pulled out the lighter from his pocket to light up Momoka's sparkler fireworks. Sae shared the sparkle from her fireworks to light up the sparklers in his hand. Sae looked up to see Momoka distracted by the view.

The hazy sun was near setting behind the tall mountains in the distance. The waves were clear, but a orange and yellow hue instead. The tips of the waves were foamy as the pulled into and out of the sandy damp shore.

Sae looked over to Momoka's face, her eyes glowing from the sparklers she was now adoring.

"Thanks," she smiled, her face even more beautiful to Sae with the evening glow.

He blushed and looked away, tucking the lighter back into his pocket, "You're welcome."

Momoka admired the fireworks in her hand, "I really like these types of fireworks you know. They look similar to spider lilies and the smoke that follows is so pretty."

"I guess," Sae looked at his fireworks, "Sorry I couldn't get the colorful ones you wanted."

"It's okay, I think these are better anyways." Momoka reassured, "By the way, you should take some pictures of these on your new phone. Your camera quality is so much better now."

Sae took out his phone from his pocket and said, "I'm glad you like them."

Rather than snapping a photo of their sparklers, Sae captured a photo of Momoka admiring the fireworks again.

Momoka snatched his phone with lighting speed, "Hey, what was that for?!"

"You said to take a picture."

"Of the fireworks, not me you dummy!" She smacked the back of his head before returning his phone.

"Ouch," Sae rubbed the back of his head, "I don't have any pictures of you, you know."
