Acafellas

The three girls—Quinn, Santana, and Brittany—decided during their sleepover at Juliette's house that they wouldn't tell her about joining Glee. Moreover, they'd joined Glee Club at Sue Sylvester's request, tasked with spying and dismantling it from the inside and with Quinn to keep an eye on Rachel and her boyfriend. They thought it would be a great surprise for Juliette to see them walk into the choir room unannounced.

As they entered the choir room, their eyes immediately found Juliette, who stood up, halting her conversation with Kurt and Mercedes. She met them halfway across the room, her face etched with confusion. "What are you guys doing here?" Juliette questioned.

"We joined!" Brittany answered cheerfully.

"Why?" Juliette asked skeptically.

"We'll tell you later," Santana said, glancing at Quinn, who was too busy glaring at Rachel to notice. Rachel seemed to be the only one who wasn't surprised by their presence.

Just then, Mr. Schue walked in with the rest of the members. Finn and Nathaniel looked equally shocked at the three Cheerios' arrival. Before anyone could ask questions, Mr. Schue clapped his hands, signaling everyone to stand up and get ready for rehearsals.

"Five, six, seven, eight. Step and step. Step and step. And turn it around. Down and up. And hit, hit, down, hit," Mr. Schue instructed, trying to teach them a routine. Both Juliette and Nathaniel exchanged looks, thinking the choreography was subpar.

Rachel, never one to hold back, interrupted, "Can we stop, please?"

Mr. Schue sighed, "You don't have to ask me every time for permission to go to the bathroom, Rachel. You can just go."

Rachel, unamused, repeated, "Okay, what's wrong with the choreography?"

"It sucks," Rachel replied bluntly. "We can't compete with Vocal Adrenaline with these steps. You're a great vocal coach, Mr. Schue, but you're not a trained choreographer. That's what we need to be the best. We need Dakota Stanley."

Rachel continued "You can't take us to regionals without him. He was the understudy to the candelabra in beauty and the beast on broadway."

"Just because he understudied doesn't mean he ever performed," Mr. Schue retorted.

Nathaniel interjected, "But it doesn't hurt to try, right? You know, with him."

Santana and Brittany shared small smirks, knowing Nathaniel was unknowingly supporting their plan. However, Juliette caught the girls' exchange and decided she'd press them about it later.

Quinn made matters worse by adding, "Did you ever perform, Mr. Schue? After high school. Did you even try?"

Juliette was now certain something was up with her friends.

After rehearsals, Juliette pulled her best friends aside. "What are you up to?" Nathaniel, passing by, decided to eavesdrop.

"Whatever do you mean, Jules?" Santana smiled sweetly, feigning innocence.

"I mean, it's clear you have a plan," Juliette said firmly.

Quinn interjected, "So what if we do? It will make everything better. Once Glee Club is gone, Finn's, Nate's, and your reputation will be back to normal."

Juliette was incredulous. "My reputation? Our reputation? Is our reputation really affecting you that much? You know I don't care as much about mine as you care about yours."

This was the first time Juliette was close to arguing with them this badly.

Quinn, sensing the tension, tried to calm the situation. "Look, believe it or not, we're trying to help you."
