Amira's POV

I groaned as I stretched and awoke, my eyes fluttering open. The silk sheets on the comfortable bed felt like heaven on my skin. Wait.... Tiff doesn't have silk sheets... not even in her guest bedroom... I bolted upright which caused my head throb. I sank back into the sheets with a groan. God I wish I hadn't partied so hard last night. I need some Tylenol. Why the hell is it so bright in here? I reopened my eyes and looked around, realizing that I didn't recognize my surroundings at all. Who the hell's bedroom am I in? I began to panic trying to recall the events from the night before. Tiff left me on the porch... Then that guy came up to me... HE DRUGGED ME OMG WHAT THE HELL...

I didn't recall much or know what happened after but I knew I needed to get out of here I looked around the enormous bedroom for a way to escape until I noticed a huge floor-to-ceiling window. I first checked to make sure no one touched me while I was unconscious and that I still had all my clothes on-thankfully I did, and then I scooted to edge of the massive bed so I could access my escape route. I ran to the window and tried to open it, but it was nailed shut. That's when I noticed that it wouldn't have mattered anyways because I was on the second floor with no way down.

Suddenly a door I hadn't yet noticed opened behind me. "I wouldn't try that if I were you", chuckled the stranger from the night before. "You", I coldly stated as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Yes, me.", he answered in an amused tone. "You drugged me and kidnapped me!", I yelled. "I know" was his short reply.

I ran at him in an attempt to hit him and slip past him through the door. However as I reached him he caught my wrist with one hand and pulled me flush against him with his other. He leaned down and whispered in my ear,"I wouldn't try that either if I were you. You don't know the rules around here yet, so I'll forgive your insolent act for now. However if you try anything again I will be forced to punish you. Until now I have been nothing but kind to you. You woke up in a soft bed rather than a cell and you got to keep your clothes. My colleagues whom you are about to meet are not nearly so nice. I would hate to see you get killed on day one so do not try their patiences."

At this point I was trembling. I was angered by his cocky attitude and wanted to wipe it off his face. I was also furious that being allowed to keep your clothes was considered "nice"."You fucking kidnapped me. Why the hell would I be grateful for that? You're a fucking psycho if you think I would." I screamed.

"Now, now, Amira", he chided,"Watch your language. Such ugly words shouldn't come from such a pretty mouth." With those words I froze. "How the hell do you know my name?" I asked. "Well you weren't just a random choice, you know. We watched you for months and learned everything about you. Where you live, where you go to school, your hobbies, your age, even the hospital you were born at. But you will know more about that when you get the chance to speak to me and my colleagues all at once. For now, shower and get changed. You look like you could use one.",he stated. Before I had the chance to respond, the man had closed the door in my face and left me alone inside the room.

I figured that compliance, for now, was my best option. If I could get them to think I was behaving, then they would loosen my metaphorical leash and I would be granted the chance to escape. I looked around and saw two more doors in the bedroom that I had yet to open. I opened the first one and saw a closet. I supposed I need something to change into and picked a shirt off the rack. What the fuck? This is MY shirt! How did they get this? That was the moment I realized that man was telling the truth. They must've been inside my house! I began inspecting the rest of the clothes in the closet. About half of them were mine and the other half were new and in my size. Horrified, I quickly grabbed the clothes that I would need and ran to the other door.

Thankfully, this was the bathroom. There was a full sized tub with jets as well as a shower with two shower heads. The sink was a double which meant that the other door leading out of the bathroom went to a second bedroom. I turned on the water and stepped in the shower. Oh I forgot to look for soap. I turned and found a rack of all the same soaps I use at home. A chill ran down my spine. I quickly bathed and got dressed.

Maybe compliance isn't my best options. They probably won't be expecting me to be done so fast. This is my best chance to escape. I tried to open the door leading outside the bedroom and was pleased to find it unlocked. Well that was a stupid move now wasn't it. I cautiously peered into the hall beyond, finding it empty. I walked out of the bedroom and began to carefully investigate each room that I came to. The first two rooms both had locked doors. The third was an office with the door wide open.

I started to leave the office when I realized that there was no exit, but something on the desk caught my eye. A phone! I can emergency dial 911! I quickly made my way over to the desk and called for help.

After a couple of rings someone finally picked up. "Help, I've been kidnapped but I don't know where I am" I tell the dispatcher in a whisper. I cautiously check around me to make sure no one is coming. Wow I am really good at this. "Okay can you tell me what your name is" Before I could reply, a hand clamped over my mouth and I let out a muffled scream. Whoever grabbed me snatched the phone from my hand and slammed it back down into the receiver. I tried to scream but the man holding me hit my temple so hard that I blacked out.
