I knew we were meant to be from the day. I saw you.
Yet a part of me stopped from reaching out to you
I blew out every candle that I held between us
Thinking the flame wasn't enough
Now I know how much you mean to me
My body, heart and soul keep searching in need
Everywhere, I look at you all around
I have come down with myself, and I want you now
No more running, hiding of fear will play its part
I'm sorry for hurting you and running away in the past
There are things I never dealt with, even gave the time to think
Running felt like the easy option than a risk
But now I know you weren't a risk
But all of me, and all of you, the love you gave
Is all I need and all I ever want for you to be mine again
Let me sweep your feet away,
carry your heart in my delicate frame
I know you're scared, cause I hurt you, bad
But give me your hand, I won't run away this time .
I love you more and forever, you have my heart
You can trust me now, because I have a ring in your name forever after in my heart .
