"I figured it would be nice...but this is insane..."

Sakura had woken up early, never one to sleep in late as she left it was a waste of time that she could put towards training. She was also a stickler to her well-planned morning routine. Every morning, she would run ten miles, followed by a thirty minute yoga cooldown.

After hearing that they had full access to the indoor gym, she knew it would be the first thing on her to-do list that morning. She found the facility easily, thanks to the receptionist's detailed directions, and flipped the light switch on, indicating that she was first to arrive. She was impressed by the overall equipment that they were given access to during their short visit as she headed upstairs where the running track was located.

Dressed in her signature light pink joggers and sports bra, she adjusted the matching pink cropped hoodie before pulling her hair back into a high-pony-tail. She pulled out a pair of headphones and her phone, clicking to her usual playlist before sliding it into her pocket.

Stretching her arms and legs, she started to run at a steady pace, switching every so often to a sprint before settling back to her original pace.

While the track was nice, she preferred her outdoor runs around the academy grounds more. The fresh air was refreshing and helped clear her mind for the upcoming day. Though with only been in Tokyo for a single night, she wasn't keen on getting lost on her first full day of internship, so she choose the safer route of using the agency's facilities.

She wasn't keeping track of how long she had been running and definitely didn't notice that someone else had entered the gym not long after she started her workout.

Bakugo had also woken up early to train when he noticed that the lights of the gym were already lit, indicating that someone was already using the facility. Stepping in, he didn't see anyone on the ground level until he peered upwards, noticing his weather-quirked classmate running laps around the track above.

Making his way up, she had yet to notice him as she was solely focused on her run. Deciding whether or not to interrupt, he threw on his headphones and kept a steady pace behind her, matching the speed changes she'd make.

He internally scolded her for not being more aware of her surroundings.

After some time, she slowed her pace before arriving at a full stop, placing her hands on her knees as she caught her breath while a familiar scent filled the air.

'Burnt sugar?'

The current track on her playlist continued to play at full volume in her ears until she felt someone pull out one of the headphones.

"Damn cloud, you trying to go deaf?"

"Shit!"

Sakura yelled, stumbling backwards before catching herself and placing a hand over her chest as if it would calm her racing her heart. She looked up to see Bakugo standing in front of her, holding the missing headphone between his fingers.

"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" She gasped, pulling out her phone and pausing the song that had still been playing.

"Be more aware of your damn surroundings!"

He had her there. She had a habit of closing out the world around her during her runs, something to which her uncles scolded her for.

She sighed, holding her hands up in defense, "Sorry, sorry."
