Hideko ran through the second floor, heading towards Shiratorizawa's room.
Almost there.
Hideko stopped in front of their door, panting, hands on her knees.
Taking a deep breath before straightening up.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Rocking on her heels as she wait for the door to open, she turned around to look at the door of her team, Karasuno.
I hope they wake up a little late than usual... I haven't started baking the milk bread I plan on giving everyone. The dough still needs an hour to rest before shaping them and putting them in the oven.
The door opened making her turn around quickly.
"Good morning Yamagata-san. Are you all ready for our morning jog?" She greeted with a smile on her face and hands behind her back.
"Good morning little spitfire. Come on inside." Yamagata grinned at her, opened the door widely for her to enter.
Spitfire? She looked at him with a questioning look as she walks past him, as she enters seeing the others doing their own thing, from folding their blankets to brushing their hair.
"Good morning everyone." She smiled at the boys as they each greeted her back.
"Spitfire? Since when did you call me that Yamagata-san?" She turned around to ask the boy who smirked back at her.
"Seems fitting. Considering the time Semi and I walked in on you talking with someone on your phone the other night."
"Oh my Lord. Let's not talk about that." Hideko scrunched her face making the said boy laugh, gaining some attention.
How cute. Yamagata thought as he grinned down at her.
Hideko looked at her side as Tendo gives her a side hug.
"Chibi-chan! Morning jogs are a drag but I bet it'll be fun having you with us!" Tendou grinned, swaying lightly side to side.
"It's too early... I just want to drop down and sleep again." Kawanishi loudly yawned as he walks towards their small group by the door.
"Come on, guys. The earlier we finish, the earlier you can all rest and eat. I have a lot planned for today. So I hope you made space in your stomachs." Hideko grinned at them, excitement in her eyes.
"Chibi-chan, you're the best!" Tendou engulfed her in a hug, raised her from the ground and shaked her side to side.
"Tendou-san! I'm glad you're excited. But put me down." Hideko wrapped her arms and legs around the boy, afraid to fall.
"But I like hugging you. You're my cuddle buddy, after all! You didn't sleep here last night, I thought we're having another sleepover after dinner but Nekoma's captain took you away from us." Tendou tightened his arms around her.
"You sound like a toddler complaining." Shirabu said under his breath as he makes his way to them.
"Put her down, Tendou. You wouldn't want her to get hurt again, do you?" Semi said, joining in the conversation.
Tendou refused to let her down as he snuggles his head into the crook of her neck.
"Tendou-san, that tickles!"
"She'll feel cursed to be around us or something, if that happens." Shirabu taunted them.
"Let us go. We should be back a few minutes before 5' o clock. Remember to take the only path we are allowed to use. If anyone gets lost on the way, make sure to contact anyone of us including the coaches. Understood?"
