Branch's Pov
I woke up this morning, next to Poppy. I woke up earlier than her because I have to go back to my bunker. Poppy was lying her head on my chest. She was sleeping so peacefully and I didn't wanna wake her up. But I couldn't move so I had to. 
"Poppy." I whispered 
"Mmm?"
"I have to go." 
"Why ?" She said in a sleepy voice 
"We don't wanna get caught, do we ?"
"No." 
I kissed her forehead and I stood up.
"Branch?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you."
I smiled at her and said "I'll see you at midnight." And before I left , I winked at her and she smiled. 
Poppy's Pov
I'm so glad that Viva is gone for two days. Now I can spend my night with Branch. I'm so excited. And I'm excited that I broke up with Creek. Finally. I'm going to explain to my dad what happened and hopefully he will understand.
I visited my dad and spent time with my friends. It's great not having Creek always telling you what to do and interrogating you. Although, he was spying on me all day. He tried to talk to me but I was always with company so he didn't have the chance. 
It's 11:45 and I'm getting ready for my date with Branch. I can't wait to see him.

Tried cover my eyes

Branch's Pov
I was heading to Poppy's pod to pick her up , hoping that everyone in the village were asleep, when I heard Poppy singing :

"Ah!!!! How long have you been standing there?"
"Not long." I said " Ready to go?"
"I thought that I was supposed to meet you in the forest."
"Yeah that was the original plan , but everyone's asleep so I came to pick you up."
