picture this:
rattling on the windows,
dashing, hustling, bustling,
yelling and honkingunpleasant to the ears,
it makes one frown,
it wipes the smile off one's face,
and draws their fingers into their ears, now picture this:
rain softly pattering,
leaves rustling as the wind blows by,
silence; and one can hear the birds afar, refreshing to the ears,
it makes everyone smile,
it brings out contentment on one's face,
and reminds them of the little joys of life,an argument in this setting,
people frowning at each other,
throwing pointed fingers at each other,
spitting, shouting, and spouting nonsense,
out of spite, silence made that setting beautiful,
and this quarrel made the setting unpleasant,
such is the beauty of silence,
and the ugliness of noise.
