"You're Majesty" Hatter spoke. "I do beg pardon for any intrusion" Mother and I walked over to him. "My family find themselves in somewhat awkward circumstances" Hatter held up the ant container.

We saw them bow and curtsy to us. "Of course" Mother said and she took out a small piece of cake and gave it to him.

"Thank you" Hatter put the container down and released them.

"I always liked tiny things" Aunt Iracebeth muttered.

"Not too much now, be careful" He sprinkled some cake onto them. They each ate some and grew back to normal size.

"Outstanding, my boy, well done" His Father said.

"Oh, my family" Hatter said all excited. Mother and I stepped back to give them space. I walked back over to Simon and grabbed my arm in his. "My dear family. Mother" Hatter hugged his Mother. "You, Father. You kept my blue hat. I make hats, Father. I'm a hatter"

"I always knew you were, my boy" Hatter's Father pulled him into a hug.

I followed Time through the gates of heaven.

"Yes?" He said.

"I know you tried to warn me but I didn't listen. I'm sorry... You see I used to think Time was a thief stealing everything I loved" I took out my Father's watch. "I see now that you give before you take and every day is a gift. Every house, every minute, every second" I held it out for him.

"Ah, the fallen soldier. I suppose you want me to fix it"

"No. I want you to have it" He hesitated but took it from me. "He used to say the only thing worth doing was what we do for others. I think he would have liked you"

"Hmm? It is said that Time is a friend to no man... But I will remember you always and please... Do not come back"

I chuckled softly. "I won't"

I left him and found the others all catching up.

"Alice!" Hatter and Sera ran over to me and we all hugged.

"I'm so happy to see you both again" I said and we pulled apart from each other.

"You simply must come and meet my family" Hatter said. "After all, you are the very person who saved them, aren't you? We're going to have so much fun together"

I felt bad as I looked at the looking-glass mirror.

"Oh. But of course, you have a family of your own, don't you?" I nod my head. "Very important thing, a family. You only get the one"

"Oh, Hatter. I fear I may never see you again" I said.

"That's not true. You're coming to my coronation right?" Sera asked.

"Well, of course I will, you know I would never miss it" I said to her.

"My dear, Alice. In the gardens of memory. In the palace of dreams that is where you and I will meet"

"But a dream is not reality" I said.

"Who's to say which is which?" Sera asked shrugging her shoulders. "Bye, Mother. I'll see you soon" Sera and the White Queen hug.

Simon and Sera held hands as they walked through the mirror.

I hugged Hatter and pulled away from him.

"You did it, Alice" Mally said. "An impossible thing"

"Not as impossible as saying goodbye to you, my friends" I look back at Hatter. "Goodbye, Hatter" I walked through the mirror.
