INTRODUCTION

I personally never believed in love. I mean come on, can something like that exist in such a cruel world? But oddly enough the universe has made it it's mission to prove me wrong.

And guess what? Challenge accepted!

[Chapter one: In denial.]

"Hello everyone, my name is Katherine! It's a pleasure to meet you all." I managed to mumble out, trying to avoid making eye contact with the class.

The teacher sighs, tired already. "Ah, Katherine, please sit down next to Yuna." I turn to look at her, she was leaning on her desk, clearly displeased with my lack of confidence.

She was looking at a certain student. I slowly look over to where her gaze landed. My eyes soon met hers, she smiled at me.

"I'm right here~!" she yelled, waving excitedly.

"Keep it down, miss Yuna." the teacher stated as giggles were heard.

"Hmph..." she pouted in response. "Boring..." she muttered, crossing her arms.

"Mind repeating that, miss Yuna?" the teacher phrased, expecting a moment of silence.

"You're class is boring! It's not at all fun, this class is filled with wannabe mary sue characters." Yuna snapped back.

She struck a nerve, to say the least. "That's it! Detention young lady, go!" the teacher yelled, her voice echoes through the hallway as she pointed at Yuna in anger.

"Then fine, you clearly do not take criticism well." Yuna spoke, grabbing her bag and immediately leaving.

The teacher sighed. "Oh for fuck's sake that girl needs to stop getting on my nerves..." she muttered, struggling to compose herself.

"Class is dismissed."she blurted out.

A student slowly raised their hand. ma'am it's only been-"

"Listen kid, I don't have the energy to deal with you. Do you want an excuse to skip class or what?" the teacher remarked.

The student goes quiet. The rest of the class look at them.

"I'm sorry..." they said timidly, the class looks amused.

Blush slowly invaded their cheeks as they hear people laugh and whisper, the teacher's expression softening.

That student happens to be Evan, the shy cutie. Countless girls have fallen for him, yet he's blissfully aware of them, due to the fact he often never stays long enough to hear what they have to say. Reminds me of a bunny.

Evan slowly got up, sprinting towards the exit. "There he goes!" the teacher laughed.

The rest of the class was leaving, most of them had already packed their bags. As I did the same, I hear the teacher call my name.
