"I bet they already fucked," Liam shrugged as Cameron almost spit out his drink.
"Dude! Gross!" Cameron put his drink down, the way she captivated their attention once again made Kian roll his eyes.
Even if Kian was utterly annoyed by her, he couldn't help but think she would become more important to the group as days passed, and maybe not in a good way. Seeing how careless she was dancing with the boss made him pissed off, how could she act so carefree when this life isn't meant for her.
"Hey, remember," Myles nudged Kian as they stared at her. "She's lost people too."
"She literally lost her mom recently because of us," Liam sighed.
"She didn't choose this life," Myles glared at Kian before smacking his head lightly. "Be nice, you can't blame her for having a bit more humanity inside."
"She's controlling him, you guys don't see it?" Kian scoffed as he pointed at them. "She's got him wrapped around her finger and could use Chris against us."
"Let the boss have some fun," Cameron glared at Kian. "You ever see him in such a good mood?"
"Stop being a hater," Liam groaned.
"I guess I can't confide in anyone these days," Kian sighed. "Whatever, if this team goes down I'm not going down with it."
"She'll warm up to you I know it," Myles raised his eyebrows at him.
"What makes you so sure?" Kian crossed his arms as he faced Myles.
"I know," Myles shot him a smug look before they all changed the conversation.
Back on the dance floor were Fallon's arms around Chris as he swayed them side to side, he was getting pretty drunk as well and stopped talking letting the girl speak for herself.
"Chris, the music is so good!" She slurred her words as she finally let her head rest on his chest. "We need to make a playlist, so that way when we host parties people will want to come!"
"Mhmm," He mumbled holding back a smile, it was threatening to come out but he remained calm.
"I think I want to go home," She sighed finally stopping her movements. "I'm getting sleepy."
"We can go home," He looked at her fondly for a quick second as he held her hand and dragged her off, one quick motion to the boys they all found each other and followed after the pair.
The ride home was a bit quieter as some of the boys fell asleep. Fallon was curled up against Chris's chest, and this time she was able to drift off into a slumber. Chris had his right arm holding himself at the seat in front of him, he was a little uncomfortable and he knew he'd feel better if his arm was around her but he couldn't move too fast. That would be weird, right?
"We're home," The boys poured out of the car once again and Chris was in the same position as last time.
Carrying Fallon's body in his arms, Chris went up the stairs and did his routine of laying her on her bed and taking off her makeup.
"Chris," Fallon held his wrist as he sat next to her on the body, she remained laid on the bed but her eyes just barely opened to look at him. "Thank you."
"For what?" He chuckled staring at her hand.
"You were good on this mission, you did good." She smiled before closing her eyes. "I was able to do good because of you."
