Amie

We gathered around the bonfire under a roofed area, the rain pitter-pattering outside, creating a soothing ambiance.

As we all huddle close to the crackling bonfire, the warmth contrasting with the cool rain outside, Amna stands up with a mischievous glint in their eye.

"Alright, folks, time for some fun! Let's play Two Truths and a Lie," she declares, her voice carrying above the sound of the rain.

She explains the rules with enthusiasm - each player shares three statements, two truths and one lie, and the challenge is for the others to decipher the falsehood.

And here's the twist: a shot of wine awaits those who guess incorrectly! She said and kept the wine bottles and cups on the table.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the sound of the rain adding a soothing backdrop to the crackling fire.

Anurag, with a twinkle in his eye, takes the lead, offering up his three intriguing statements.

"Okay first is I have been on three dates a day"

We all gasps at the first one, chuckling at the audacity of three dates in a day.

Silly goose!

"Second is that I had a crush on my ma'am"

Oh.

I can't help but exchange a knowing glance with Mahir at the mention of a crush on a professor.

As Anurag confidently shares his final statement, "i have been dumped thrice" we all fall into a thoughtful silence, each trying to unravel the lie from the truth.

Amna is quick to make her guess, followed by me and then Mahir, each convinced we have cracked the code.

"I think first one lie" amna said.

"Hm.. I think the last one is a lie " I said with a nod.

" The first one" mahir added.

The air is thick with anticipation as Anurag finally reveals the truth.

"Amie is correct" anurag said with a slight disappointed.

A smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

"How can you both think that I was dumped huh! Anurag can never be dumped by anyone" anurag glared at amna and mahir.

Mahir muttered something which I couldn't hear. Okay whatever!

"Losers please have your shots" i said clapping.

The playful banter that follows, with Anurag's cheeky retort and Amna and Mahir's good-natured acceptance, fills the air with laughter and camaraderie.

As I observed Amna's reaction as she downed the entire drink in one swift motion and so did mahir.

Amna shivered slightly, I couldn't help but admire my friend's courage.

I pat her shoulder "good girl."

"Abhi mai abhi mai" i said with a grin.

"First, I never fractured any bone of mine" Mahir squint his eyes hearing it.

The second one is what I want.

"I have never been kissed in rain."

"Oh" anurag says.

I chuckled saying the third one "I love spicy food."

With a mischievous grin, i began, "Well, let's see who's got it right this time."
