It has been two days ever since that dream that you had. You decided to just walk home this time, because you wanted to clear your mind off of things. Oddly enough, you couldn't get yourself to forget the dream. If someone had asked you to recount every action that happened, you'd state it all accurately.
The dream has been bothering you, sometimes you'd get distracted while you're in work hours.. Why is it that the little girl in your dream sounded exactly like when you were little?
There has not been a memory of you making a promise with a little boy. And you weren't really the person to hang out around the beach, you'd rather get around in the city with your childhood friends.
"I'll chase you to the ends of the Earth."
His voice echoes in your mind, whoever that little boy was, he must be madly in love with the girl.. What a bold statement— moreover, a bold promise. There are odds that the promise might be broken, and who knows if they really stayed true to one another?
The walk home was quiet, and you liked it. There weren't that many people around, and the view of the skies was calming to look at. The sun setting down, reflecting the atmosphere. Winds flowing by you ever so slightly, causing you to almost pass by the little boy that was asking you for help.
Not until a tug on your doctor's coat stopped you from your tracks. "Miss.. miss could you help me?" A small voice came from behind, as you turn around to see a boy with pleading eyes looking at you so cutely.. awwwww.
"I just happened to see you walking by, and you looked so cool!! Are you a doctor? Do you have some doctor duties to do? The boy lets go of your coat as he circled you in awe, as if he's never seen a doctor in personal before.
Cute, you thought to yourself. You crouched down to reach his level, and you nod. "Yes, I'm a doctor. But I'm on my way home now." Replying with a smile, you notice him holding something.. almost like a rod. Hmmm, what could it be?
Now that you notice it, he had stopped you near a fish pond.. which you could catch fish freely? The boy had a yellow hoodie on with a white stripe, which almost reminded you of your youngest brother's fashion preferences.
"Everyone says doctors are super reliable.. and you can do anything I ask," the little boy had paused, oh.. you knew where this was going. "Right, riiighttttt..??" He looked at you with his pleading eyes once again, putting his palm to his chin to act sweet to you. Who could deny a child like him?
The little boy grinned, his eyes sparkling with hope as he awaits for your answer. Brimming with confidence, he pulls out a stack of shiny, gold cards from his pocket. What were those? Only you could squint your eyes in confusion as you were still crouching.
"Here's what I'll give you as a reward!"
A reward? Pfft, is the task that difficult for him to give you those..? Besides, what would you do with those cards? It's not like.. "A full set of Kitty Playtime AR cards! And it has the supeeeerrr limited edition Nya Nya cards! Only—"
