685: EXT. DREAM? NIGHT
FADE IN:
Just a dream...?
RACHAEL: (Wakes up, to herself) "When I woke up, all I could see was pure white. I had no idea where I was or what was going on until I heard a soft, gentle voice."
MICHAEL: (Smiling lovingly at her) Hello my sweetheart.
RACHAEL: (Looks up at him in disbelief) Michael...?
MICHAEL: (Smiles softly) It's okay. It's just me.
RACHAEL: (To herself) "I couldn't believe it, it was Michael. He was standing in front of me, looking at me with that same bright, beautiful smile. But he looked more youthful than when I last saw him. He looked the way he did when we first met way back in 1988. His hair was tied into his signature ponytail with his beautiful curls framing his face perfectly, and he was wearing a white T-shirt under a blue button-up with black pants and a white sash tied around his waist." How...?
MICHAEL: (Giggles softly and takes her hand) Magic. Come on, let's go for a walk.
RACHAEL: (Closes her eyes, to herself) "As Michael took my hand, a thousand memories flashed before my eyes. His touch felt so real, even though I was sure I was dreaming." Where are we?
MICHAEL: That's a good question. Where do you think we are?
RACHAEL: (Looks around) Well... It almost looks like the alley from "The Way You Make Me Feel". Only brighter.
MICHAEL: (Giggles softly) I know, it's beautiful, isn't it? Come on, let's sit.
Michael led Rachael over to a bench and sat down.
RACHAEL: I miss you so much, the kids miss you, your family misses you.
MICHAEL: (Nods sadly) I know you do. I love you all so much.
RACHAEL: Michael, why? Why did you leave me? How could you leave us?
MICHAEL: I never wanted to leave you, I love you more than anything in the world. It shouldn't've happened... I've made a lot of mistakes and I know I've hurt you, but I promise, everything is gonna be fine, you'll see. You won't have to worry anymore. And remember, I'm always gonna be with you. I'm always gonna be right here.
Michael reached over and placed his hand over Rachael's heart.
RACHAEL: (Completely breaks down in tears) I can't do this without you Michael! I need you! The kids need you!
MICHAEL: (Shakes his head) You're gonna fine sweetie, you're so much stronger than you think you are. You're one of the strongest people I've ever known... But, why would you go and do a silly thing like that for?
RACHAEL: What did I do?
Michael grew quiet and looked down sadly, turning and looking off into the distance for a moment before looking back at her.
MICHAEL: (Looks at her sadly) I have to go now.
Without another word, Michael stood up from the bench and began walking away as Rachael called out for him.
RACHAEL: Michael, wait! Michael...! Michael...!
As Rachael called for him, she heard another voice from behind.
???: That's it, we've got her back.
686: INT. HOSPITAL NIGHT
RACHAEL: (Wakes up gasping for air, to herself) "Suddenly in a flash, I woke up, but I couldn't breathe. I was coughing and gasping for air. Once again I had no idea where I was or what was happening."
