My lower back aches but that's not what made me stop dead in my tracks. Once I ran down the corridor, I made the biggest mistake of my life: leaving that bedroom.

Blood smeared across the tiled floor. Men with muscles with holes in their chests splayed out across the room; the floor, the couch, the coffee table, and the stairs leading upstairs to the guest bedrooms.

I covered my mouth with trembling fingers while I stepped over dead alphas. The majority of them had eyes so wide that it seemed they would pop out of their sockets.

They were all taken by surprise in their last waking moments.

Soft hums of a beautiful melody caught my attention. That breathy sound came from a baritone that only one person possessed: Reed.

I looked around the room to see if there was an escape I could take but came up short. There was no way I could outrun him. I lost. I didn't make it far. I was going to...die?

I don't feel evil intentions from him. I feel...I feel that he wants us. Biscuit began whimpering.

My eyes widened at the softness. Almost as if he was submitting. My knees started to buckle, the strength ceasing to exist. "Moon God," I softly begged as I fell to my knees.

My body felt hot. I yanked at Killian's shirt, offering myself the air that I desperately needed. My vision blurred but eventually steadied once a large figure began appearing.

Once my vision cleared, my sights focused on the enigmatic man as he walked toward me taking his sweet time.

The aura he emitted demanded we submit. When he stepped into a room, power was what anyone would feel. The strongest wolf in the lands but I question if he was truly held to those standards.

His vibrant crimson eyes stood out the most with that psychotic grin on his lips as he studied the room as if he was proud of his doings.

Reed extended his ring and middle finger out and calmly began cleaning them with a white handkerchief, leaving his other fingers bloody.

"You look delectable on your knees, my little hellion," he commented in that teasing tone, his voice full of seductive motives.

"T-This is cannibalism..." I couldn't stand. I couldn't rise to my feet and bolt it. He wouldn't let me. He won't let me go.

"Is it?" Reed asked but he knew the answer. His throat rumbled with a dark chuckle as he glanced around the room until those predators for eyes landed back on me. So red. So dark. So mischievous.
