BERNARDIS
Upon reaching their unit, Domenico and Leandro silently sat on the couch in the living room. The living room was well-lit with a perfect combination to white and yellow lights, and it had a half-wooden-half-marble theme. Though it wasn't as dark-themed as their mansion, it still looked as beautiful as the mansion. The silence was broken by the heavy sighing of Leandro who was fighting his thoughts to ask something from Domenico but his hesitation wasn't letting him. "Ask away.", said Domenico in his usual cold but dominating tone this time keeping his usual stoic face. 
"You're also thinking about that girl from the cafe, aren't you?" Leandro finally spoke trying hard to hide his hesitation. It was really awkward for him to suddenly talk like this about a random girl that he deep down knew wasn't random. No matter how much power and authority they held, they would never disrespect or mistreat females and children. "What about her?" Leandro's chain of thoughts broke by Domenico's cold voice. Leandro thought for a few seconds, more like he was trying to find the right words to put in his answer. After a lot of thinking he finally replied, "Umm I don't know...I just think that I know that girl...Her eyes reminded me of Mum and her facial features also reminded me of Dad...I don't know I am having some weird feelings...I just can't join the strings.". Domenico silently listened to his brother's reply and thought "I don't know but I also feel the same way as Leandro but why so?... Is she really related to us, if so then how?... Did Mom and Dad have a daughter we didn't know?... It's really frustrating...I am gonna find the truth all by myself without exposing it to others.". He sighed, "I don't know... maybe you are overthinking...but if you are correct then the truth will come out sooner or later." he finally spoke. 
They were interrupted when suddenly Domenico's phone started ringing. He looked at the screen and picked it up after a few seconds of staring at the caller's ID. He didn't speak anything to the person on the other end but his face darkened after listening to whatever he said. After two minutes, he ended the call and closed his eyes to calm himself down. "What was that about?" Leandro spoke in a calm tone. "Those fuckers broke the deal with Accardis and are trying to join hands with us." Domenico said in a low, cold, and dark tone with a smirk playing on his lips as he knew his plan was working. Plan of avenging his father.
Actually, Giovanni Accardi (Lucy's grandfather) and Alessandro Bernardi (siblings' grandfather) used to be business partners and both families were in a very good relationship but after a few years, Accardi backstabbed Bernardi and took control over Bernardi's good piece of property and even spread fake rumors about them. Alessandro couldn't handle this shocking and stressful situation and he died of cardiac arrest. Then Alessandro's son Antonio Bernardi decided to avenge his father by putting everything back in its place. Antonio managed to avenge his father but as a result, he along with his wife, Chiara Bernardi, got killed in a hit-and-run which was covered up as another road accident by the media but little did everyone know that it was not a normal accident but was a framed one. And now Accardis especially Arthur Accardi (Giovanni's son) is Bernardis' prime enemy. But this is not enough, there's more to the story which we'll find out about later in the story.  
Leandro was about to speak but stopped when they heard the door unlocking. Both of them got alerted as no one knew the passcode except him and his siblings and according to them, everyone was at home so who was there? They were about to pick their guns but stopped when they heard their brothers talking and laughing indicating that they went outside without informing them. "And where are you all coming from?" asked Leandro in a cold voice once all of them were in the living room. All three of them knew that they fucked up once they heard Leandro's cold which was unusual for him to use with his family members. "Umm...We just-umm we..." Leandro and Domenic were patiently waiting for Aurelio to finish. "We just went to hang out a bit," Stefano said quickly in a single breath. "To the club downstairs" finished Franco in a not-so-boring tone. Before the conversation could stretch more Domenico spoke in the more dominating voice "All three of you are grounded...I don't need to repeat the grounding rule as it's none of your first time getting grounded.". He stood up ready to leave but stopped and said "Get ready all of you. We are leaving for the mansion in 10 minutes, I've got something to deal with.". All of them made their way to their rooms.
