When we got back to the house all of the girls and me and Nikas parents were cheering. "What's going on?" I whispered to Paige, she shrug her shoulders, smirking. I look up to see a huge poster hanging from the balcony that writes "Paige Luna forever" oh gosh this is so cringe, I think. I cover my face in embarrassment while all the girls run and hug us.
"Okay girls who's first?" Nika says holding a microphone, Ice and Azzi jump up, the music starts and they karaoke to beautiful girls. "Ya all these beautiful girls" Azzi sings "that's why it will never work" Ice sings wrapping her arm playfully around Azzis shoulder.
Paige plops down on the couch next to me, as she's laughing at their horrible singing. She lays her head on my chest and I let her lay in between my legs. She picks up my arm and wraps it around herself. "Aww couple picture" Caroline says sniping a picture of us. "Im so glad we don't have to hide this anymore" Paige whispered as she held my hand. The butterflies in my stomach were getting bigger by the seconds. She always made me feel so loved.
The next morning I got woken up by Paige. She came into my room rubbing her eyes. She looked exhausted. She gave me a tired look and I moved over so she could hop in my bed with me. She gladly scooted in and spooned me. We stayed like that for awhile until my alarm went off and I made her get up. I turned my back to her and took off my shirt, I didn't have a bra on so I was topless, with my back to Paige. I felt her looking though. I quickly put on my bikini top. I turned around and she was laying on the bed smirking at me. Dirty mind, I thought.
An hour later the team was finally ready to leave. We arrived at my boat dock and we all got on the boat. I started the engine and pushed off the dock. I took them for a quick spin around the harbor, then Nika begged to go fast in the ocean so I headed out.
I anchored up at a little shallow spot, you could see the ocean floor and all the crawling creatures. Paige hopped out of the boat and gave me her hand to help me down. We chilled there for a couple hours, playing drinking games, listening to music, swimming, etc. It was getting around dinner time so we decided to go back to the house. Nika tied up the boat as I parked it and they all hopped off. They all went up to the cars and left to go get ready for dinner.
We had multiple cars, I brought my own. Paige was waiting for me to finish up. I quickly sprayed the boat down and made sure it was all tied up. We walked up the ramp to get to the cars when Paige slipped. She had wet flip flops on because she was swimming earlier. She was running up it so fast that she slipped and scraped her whole shin of her leg.
"P!" I yelled rushing to her side. I rubbed her back to comfort her. She seemed fine but I knew it had to hurt. She was bleeding pretty bad. I picked her up bridal style and put her in the passenger seat of my Jeep. I rushed back to the house, carrying her straight to my bathroom. "I will be right back" I say putting her in the counter.
I run into Nikas room, "hey Paige slipped and fell and she doesn't seem like she's in the mood to go out right now. We're just gonna stay here tonight, have fun" I say to her rushing back to Paige. I come back with a first aid kit and I grab Paige's leg.
I run cold water under a washcloth and place it on her leg, whipping the blood off. I take some sticky butterfly stitches and place them on her cut. "What?" I say looking up at her, I noticed she hasn't took her eyes off of me. "Nothin" she says examining my face with a soft smile. I turn back to her leg "this might burn" I say as I put some cream on it. She winced in pain so I quickly put 3 bug bandaids on the cut and wash my hands.
She grabs my chin and looks down at me "thank you nurse" she says kissing my forehead. I laugh and walk out of the bathroom "oh I told them that we weren't up to go out to dinner tonight. Is that ok?" "More than okay" she says limping out of the bathroom. I always forget she's still injured. She's got a lot better now though, she barley limps or uses her crutches. "Paige why are you limping?" I say concerned "it's nothing" she says genuinely so I don't question her. I lay on my bed sitting crisscross apple sauce and I scroll through my phone. I look through my photos then post on Instagram.
