FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27TH: ROYCE HOUSE
≋ COLTON'S POV ≋
After Day left the party I follow behind her. I don't care if her house is ten minutes away but there's no way in hell I was letting her walk home in the dark at a time like this. "Are you okay?" I ask her and she stays silent with her eyes watery.

I parked my car in her driveway and she says to me "Can you stay for a bit?" Without even thinking I say yes knowing if I was in her position I'd say the same thing.
We walk up to her room and Day lays against the bottom board of her bed and she sniffles barely able to catch her breath. "How could he just kiss her like that!" Tears are running down her face and she turns to me and falls into my embrace. She's shaking and I don't know what to do but just hold her.
≋ DAY'S POV ≋
I want to do something about this whole situation but all I can do right now is cry. I mean how could he do that to me after everything we've been through, I mean I know we've had problems about so much but I didn't think he'd ever do this. It all just happened so fast and I don't know what to do. "Colton, can you stay the night?" I plead not wanting to be alone with my thoughts.
He sighs and says "Yeah, do you need me to do anything else for you?" I reply.
"Just be here please."
"I'm not going anywhere, alright Day," he says back to me and his tone changes.
I know I should not feel this way at all but why does Colton look so fucking fine just looking at me like this. I still feel like shit but the way his eyes are locked onto mine those baby blues sparkle so much it's not even funny. His distraction disappears when I replay what I saw again.
≋ COLTON'S POV ≋
She falls asleep in my arms and I lift her into her bed. Pulling the sheets and blankets on her I can't help but think, why would he do that to her?
