THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH: HALWEST ACADEMY
≋ DAY'S POV ≋
"Day I would like you to meet Colton," Mr Clark says.
We both look each other in the eye and I greet him.
"I want you to show him around the school," Mr. Clark insists.
"Mr. C, Is that necessary?" I say after seeing that snarky look on Colton's face when he tells me my assignment. Mr Clark politely nods as I lead him out of the classroom.
"So how come Charity isn't coming with us?" He asks. I say "I'd assume she's going with someone else?" He shakes his head and then we start walking.
≋ COLTON'S POV ≋
"So over here is the main gym but everyone prefers the back one since it has way more space and it's newer," she says.
"What's your real name?" I ask.
"My what?" Day replies.
"No one's name is actually Day! I mean come on if you're named that you probably got a mom named Week, a sister named Month, or a grandpa named Year."
She flips her head back crossing her arms and says "Rude much but I'm Adeyzia Athena Haven-Lyntess."
I did know her name but I just felt like teasing her a bit after that look she gave me earlier. "What's yours then?"
"Well, I'm Colton Ryder Classon," I reply.
"Well, it is nice to meet you Colton Ryder Classon if that's even your real name. You sound like you should've been written into Tangled."
"Is that a compliment I hear?"
"Humble yourself, Classon."
She's bold. I'll give her that but there's something about her that makes me want to keep her around and get to know her more.
