“You’ve gotta be kidding me. You’ve been missing for over three weeks, hiding out, and now you’re just here?”

You rolled your eyes. Of all places to run into these assholes. It had to be here. “What? Were you lonely? Missed getting your ass kicked?”

The jock stood tall, trying to act like a predatory bird flaunting his feathers to intimidate. He just reminded you of a pompous peacock. “Whatever you say, bitch.” He opened his phone, doing who knows what, and you went back to looking at the water. It was probably the last few seconds of peace you'd get.

Unfortunately it was all too true as the bully realized you weren’t paying attention to him or fleeing for life. That seemed to piss him off, so he walked down to the stream, kicking the water in your face. “Think you’re all that uh?”

You sat there, soaked with water, more irritated than anything. “Careful, don’t wanna ruin that disgustingly gelled hair of yours. If you lost that, you get even less bitches than zero.”

He grabbed you, pulling you up to your feet by your collar.

“You wanna die? Huh?”

“Death is such a funny concept.”

He scowled, shoving you back so you hit the ground as hard as he could make you. “You're cracked. On some drugs out here? Smoking something good?” he grabbed your hair, yanking on it and making your scalp burn. You grit your teeth. “Ouh! You’ll love this. That bitch-ass numb nuts you always stand up for-“ His smile was awful. The way he was looking at you made your insides turn. Whatever he said next, you didn’t wanna hear it. “Don’t worry. You won’t need to. We took care of it. He won’t ever be standing again, so now you can just sit down next to him when we beat the both of you.” You felt every fiber of your being begin to scream, to fight, to do something, anything. “We sent him down a few flights of stairs, by accident of course.” His smile was getting wider and wider, just like the hole you wanted to tear through his chest. “I don’t know though. Our next accident may be a one way ticket to see his alcoholic mommy. The bitch couldn’t get it together to raise a decent human being, so we’re just doing her a favour. Then both of them can see eachother again, and burn in hell tog-“

*crack*

“MY FUCKING NOSE!”

You stood to your feet, watching the blood spill down his face with great satisfaction. The blood still clung to your knuckles as you hovered over him, your eyes red.

You leaned over, digging your fingers into his hair and pulling him backwards towards the stream, taking thrill from his pain, until you got him situated with his face hovering inches above the water.

“A little birdy told me that you have a mommy who can’t hold her liquor either. Mommy doesn’t treat you very good, does she?” The man’s lip quivered, either out of pain or fear, you didn’t care. “We’ve all got something, don’t we? But some choose to pass it on to others when they’re weak. And you my friend, are fucking weak.” You shoved his head into the water, watching as he struggled. You felt like something had overcome you once again. The feeling of strength, and pleasure seeing him suffer was not your own. You pulled his head up. “You could be strong, you could make a difference.” You pushed him back in, waiting a few more seconds then pulling him up and tossing him back as he struggled to get air into his lungs.

“You could make a difference, but you choose fear every time. You're such a coward and it disappoints me. You disappoint me." You stayed, facing away from him, taking a seat next to the water, watching as it flowed, bringing the blood with it. "Also your nose is clean now. Maybe go get it checked out at the hospital.”
