B E L L A
One month later,
The gentle breeze of the wind brushed my skin like the soft hands of my husband, teasing me and pleasuring me. Making me hug myself tighter as I smiled in delight. I saw him in the morning before leaving for work but still my heart aches to see his face, to feel his scent."Your order, ma'am."
I was pulled out of my thoughts when the waitress arrived with my coffee and blueberry muffin. She smiled politely at me before leaving inside. I took the cup near my mouth and inhaled the sweet aroma of the coffee. It immediately relaxes my nerves.
I looked around the bustling street of Jaipur watching people rushing to get to their job. Children running in their school inform with a bright smile on their faces. Everything looked noisy but peacefull at the same time.
Enjoying my coffee with a nice view was surely how I imagined my afternoon to be. I glanced at the two teenage couples feeding each other strawberries. It reminded me of my silly bucket lists when I was of their age. I wanted to enjoy my first date with my boyfriend in a cosy coffee shop drinking chocolate milkshake with only one straw. In our second date, I wanted us to watch a movie together in the cornor seat while eating popcorn. I wanted my first kiss to be in the rain. The list can go on.
I never get to experienced those feelings of the first kiss or my date. The boys I dated were just to stop thinking of the one person I actually wanted to be with.
"Earth to my lady."
I jumped in surprise spilling the coffee on the table. I tilted my head to look at him with glare. "You're late, Mr Rudra."
He smiled sheepishly at me before taking a seat across me. "Sorry, traffic." He mumbled looking at me before his eyes shifted to the muffins placed on the table. He grinned picking up a folk and digging in. Who eats muffin with a folk?
"Mm...why is this so yummy!" He moaned with mouthful causing me to shake my head in annoyance.
"You want one?" He ask
"No." I snapped at him before shifting my gaze back to the couple sitting behind Rudra.
"So, why did you called me?" He ask wiping his mouth with the tissue.
I let out a sigh before looking at him. "Our five months are over." I said quietly. "I wanted to talk to you—"
"Hold on—you didn't called me here to ask for my hand in marriage, have you?" He asked dramatically. "You're leaving him?"
Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with this stupid with no brain cells person. "No, dumb ass I'm not leaving my husband. God, why do you sound so much like Reyan. What did he feed you?"
