"Elias...?" Alice whispered as she rested on the bed next to me.

I gazed down at her, smiling as I tucked some hair behind her ear. "You're supposed to be asleep."

She just sniffled and let her lashes flutter, gazing up at me. "Elias...? Do you miss your family?"

I just ran my thumb along a mark on her neck, and I smiled slightly. "Not really."

She sat up then and crawled over to me, making me smirk when she got onto me and straddled me.

I ruffled her messy hair and chuckled, but she just leaned down as set her cheek on my chest. "I want to go... to your time."

I gazed down at her then, shock washing through my expression. "What?"

She shuffled up a little. "I don't like it here. The king can suck my ass. I want to go back to your time."

I just tucked some hair away from her face, smiling a little. "There's no way back, Angel."

"Sure, there is," she said then, getting off of me.

I blinked, brows drawing together.

She just ran over to the other side of the room and gathered a couple of her dresses, stashing them into a small bag.

"What do you mean 'sure, there is'?" I questioned her.

She sniffled and stood, gazing over at me. "Well... I'm Lucifer. I do magic! I haven't done magic in a while, but..." she rubbed her nose and caught her bag, bringing it over to me. "You don't happen to have chalk, do you?"

I blinked then, and I stared off into space for a moment.

I just waggled my finger and got up from the bench, rushing over to the other side of the room before I shuffled through a small case on the floor before I pulled out a small white chalk.

I handed it to her.

She took it and sat on her knees on the ground, starting to draw a star in the middle of the room before gazing up at me. "Go pack your things while I draw."

I stared at her for a moment before nodding, and I rushed around to house to pack some basic things: my masks, my phone, weapons, some food, and other small objects I got while being here.

I then ran up the stairs and set them on the floor.

She was already done drawing the pentagram, and she set her bag in the circle. "Everything that you want, set in the circle. If it's in the circle, it will travel with us."

I listened and pushed all my stuff into the pentagram before gazing up at her. "Are you sure about this, princess? It's very different in the future. Much different."

She smirked then, standing up as chalk spread along her fingers. "It was different in 500, too, Elias. I'm sure I can adapt."

"But you'll be leaving everything behind," I stated, lashes lowering.

Her smile softened. "I had nothing to begin with. I don't mind."

I watched her for a moment, but I then smirked. "Alright. If you're fine with it, my princess."

She just sighed and stood, gazing up at me while dusting off her hands. "Alright. Are you ready?"

I smirked and nodded. "Yes."

We both walked in the circle then, and she sat on her knees in the middle while I settled next to her.

She just took a deep breath. "I haven't done this in a while."

"Just take your time," I told her.

She spared me a small smile before she closed her eyes and set her hands on her knees. "Deum inferni et diabolum tenebrarum invoco dominos temporis ut per nigredinem ardeant."

I gasped when the pentegram suddenly glowed a bright white, glistening in the darkness of the room as she squeezed her eyes shut tighter.

I smiled then; knowing that it was working.

"Viginti et viginti quattuor cum homine quem amo!" she continued. "Securi iter quam tutum esse potest! Quaeso, hoc mihi fac... quia egenus sum!"

As she finished her chant, the room vanished into white, and I stared into the abyss as I felt the world around me drift away.

But I just smiled, eyes glowing a dark red. "I'll see you soon, little brother."
